Well-done Bro, yes I'm slightly perplexed by the number of strange files but hey it works. I need to find out what these files are.

So far, I think:

  • SSDT-ARTC is for Real Time Clock (RTC) issue, most probably we don't need it but I keep it for now
  • SSDT-DMAC is for Direct Access Memory controller, never used before but I keep it for now
  • SSDT-DMAR is the ACPI DMAR table, I think our Z390 have their own DMAR table, I have to try disabling it
  • SSDT-TbtOnPch-Gigabyte-Z390-AORUS is for Thunderbolt, I don't have such device so I have to try disabling it
  • SSDT-Z390-ARPT seems to do with Fenvi 1200, we have T919 so I have to try disabling it.

The other SSDT are known by me, I'll keep them.

@PMheart An update to report here.  With the SkylakeInjector kext enabled and loaded, HEVC gets disabled. However, with the kext disabled, HEVC works. Any clue?

The Desktop is done too. Works like a charm now.

I first upgraded from Monterey and had this issue. Then i did a clean install and it worked once after OOBE and then it was gone again after restart/logout.

Changing the timezone apparently crashes the clock on this beta. Irreversibly.

Well.. its a beta.

Both upgrade and clean install.

Confirmed: As soon as you change the timezone, to anything other than Cupertino, notification center, control center and the clock crash and permanently disappear from the menu bar.

Well I'm in Ventura too, grabbed an EFI from @MaLd0n, and didn't touch it, and it worked...

Thanks @MaLd0n and all that shared their EFi's and of course to the developers of OpenCore...

Laptop works, Desktop fails to boot even on Big Sur and Monterey.

You're welcome. Thank you for your findings! It's great. This community knows and respects your work since a long time!

Yes, that's correct. Please find the image attached below. If we're faking to KBL, the KBL kexts should load. Isn't it? I have not checked with the videos yet. Will check and report soon.

For Desktop, with the SKL Device Properties, the system works fine with Big Sur and Monterey, with full acceleration. It's 6500. But if i fake it to KBL, it stops booting, regardless of the macOS version i use. So, maybe on Desktops, it doesn't loads? I also tried MBP SMBIOS and it fails to boot.

Hello Everybody,

I have successfully installed MacOS Ventura with latest OC-0.8.2 and kexts. However, I can only boot with cpus=1 (it was kernel panic without this boot flag). How can I get all cores working? Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

My specs are a DELL Precision Tower 7910:
- CPU: Dual Intel Xeon E5-2699V4
- GPU: AMD Radeon RX5700XT

- Motherboard: Dell X99

Thanks for your suggestion @Stefanalmare. I have included AppleMCEReporterDisabler.kext in my EFI, but it is not working without cpus=1 boot flag.

Thanks to this forum and the brains of Acidanthera, I now have Ventura working on my Haswell system (specs in sig.), but no metal support for the HD 4600?!?

It works great and metal support is recognized when I boot into Monterey 12.5.

I'm using AAPL,ig-platform-id  0300220D

Anyone know how to get the HD 4600 graphics metal/acceleration working in Ventura with Opencore?

@GOOGE

I have the same graphics card even if I try to inject the drivers etc it don't work. I think its Better for few weeks before a stable method of boot and injection comes around. After this is BETA 1 for Ventura till then we will use the Monterey or BigSur.
