  1. Hey guys, I'm a friend of @D1ves, he complied the DarLoader today, which is d1ves patched ozmosis aka DOZ, mentioned at here. So it is totally free now. No more authorization, no more charges for using this. This module supports the skylake platform and later platforms perfectly as we test on multiple models of ASUS/ASrock/Gigabyte brand. No more functions are added to the original ozmosis bootloader. You can insert this module into your bios with mmtool 5.0 and newer or uefitool. The UEFTW of @cecekpawon can be replacement for other lacked functions. Please refer to his github page for further information. Many thanks for his work in making patcher and more other modules for ozmosis. If you guys want to try this, download the attachment below or get the module from d1ves's github pages. The doz changes the startup screen, the version showed up is 2333, used like LMAO in Chinese social network. Boot options show here use the Darboot module frome UEFTW, made by cecekpawon. 6. HACKINTOOL The Swiss army knife of vanilla Hackintoshing WARNING! Hackintool is not an automated patching tool that does all the work for you. Knowledge is required on how to patch before using it. Please read the Intel Framebuffer patching using WhateverGreen guide before you download this tool! I also recommend you read Daliansky's Hackintool tutorial (a proper English translation would be welcome). Mojave, Lilu + WhateverGreen You cannot use the Clover's KextsToPatch for framebuffer patching in Mojave for Skylake and above Framebuffer Dumps There are a few ways to dump your framebuffer data (the second two require WhateverGreen + Lilu debug versions) to read in Hackintool: 1. Use the Framebuffer->macOS 10.13.6 / Framebuffer->macOS 10.14 menu to create patches without a framebuffer dump 2. Use the -igfxdump boot flag to dump IGPU framebuffer kext to /AppleIntelFramebuffer_X_Y (root of your boot drive) and then File->Open menu 3. Use the -igfxfbdump boot flag to dump native and patched framebuffer table to ioreg and then File->Import->IOReg Dump menu Features - Supports Sandy Bridge, Ivy Bridge, Haswell, Broadwell, Skylake, Kaby Lake, Coffee Lake, Cannon Lake and Ice Lake generations - Create All, Connectors or VRAM patches - Detect Changes for auto patch creation - Create Clover patches in hex, base64 or Devices/Properties formats - Displays native GPU and Model identifiers - Display and edit Memory Info such as Stolen, Framebuffer, VRAM, Cursor etc. - Roll over some items for additional info (Tooltips) - Reads "live" data directly from Framebuffer kexts (if available; see Mojave note below) - File->Open framebuffer file generated by WhateverGreen's -igfxdump boot flag - File->Export->Clover config.plist / File->Export->Framebuffer.txt file - Patch audio layout id - Add USB port limit patch - Plug and unplug USB2 / USB3 devices and set port connector types then generate a USBPorts.kext - Advanced patching options (DVMT pre-alloc 32 MB, VRAM 2048 MB, Disable eGPU, Enable HDMI20 (4K), DP -> HDMI, GfxYTile Fix, Reboot Fix, USB port Limit, Spoof Audio Device Id, FB Port Limit, Spoof Gfx Device Id) Release Notes Updates are on Github 2.8.6 - Fix crash in getEDIDData, fix Import KextsToPatch 2.8.5 - Add "Show Installed Only" option for installed kexts 2.8.4 - Improved framebuffer enumeration, updated codecs and pci.ids 2.8.3 - Improved version checking routine, updated Turkish translation 2.8.2 - Updated Clover download location / OpenCore download support, Chinese translation update 2.8.1 - Data file updates 2.8.0 - Fixed OpenCore KextsToPatch format. Please read me: Ever since macOS Mojave came out (I mean the first DP) Apple removed the support for Atheros based WiFi Adapters from the IO80211Family.kext, so to fix it we need to add the AirPortAtheros40.kext to the Extensions manually. After each clean install the AirPortAtheros40.kext needs to be installed and after clean installing Mojave DPs after few times I decides to create this app to save some time. How to use it: This application will install the missing AirPortAtheros40.kext into /System/Library/Extensions and after the installation is done and once you reboot your computer the Atheros based WiFi adapters will be enabled. The installation is the first step of the process and it is fast but the next steps which are repairing the permission on /System/Library/Extensions and rebuilding the system caches might take a while so please wait until you were asked to reboot your computer. I'm using a TP-Link WDN4800 with an Atheros chipset and it works on other similar hardware. If this app helped you please consider donating; any amount is appreciated.

  14. Here attaching the origin buildpkg.sh mod with two more choice line 1034 # build FileVault2UEFI packages line 1061 # build FileVault2 packages you need this command before build packages and your only made a script to move all drivers in place or doing this manually NOTE; you have FileVault2 drivers in Drivers-Off and mandatory Drivers mkdir -p ~/src/UDK2018/Clover/CloverPackage/CloverV2/drivers-Off/FileVault2UEFI mkdir -p ~/src/UDK2018/Clover/CloverPackage/CloverV2/drivers-Off/FileVault2 maibe dev or coder doing the rest to make a script because I can not post here my script because my package is different of the one on SF This is what its like finish I confirm that without any FileVault Drivers the boot on APFS is much faster. The trim is activate in addition buildpkg.sh.zip

  28. So here's the solution to my problem: change the system definition! Every time I tried to use the computer, it would work just fine, until I stopped doing anything and just let it idle. Then it would freeze in a few minutes. It was hard finding a solution to this because the internet is full of discussions about *random* freezes and my computer's freezing was not random. Eventually I found a few board postings by people with similar issues and they suggested the problem was power management, caused by an incorrect system definition. Mine was set to iMac12,2. I googled "system definition sandy bridge" and found that the best one to use was iMac12,1. So I changed it to 12,1 and...problem solved! I left home for a couple hours and when I came back it was in sleep mode, just as it should be, and it woke up perfectly normally. I hope this helps anyone having the same problem.

  30. For best results do not use DSDT or SSDT for AppleALC, Use the latest builds of Lilu & AppleHDA which resolve an issue that stopped AppleALC version 1.3.0 & 1.3.1 working on some systems. You will have to download and compile them from the Git Hub Repo's as the latest builds are not yet a public binary release. Install the new builds of Lilu & AppleALC In Clover config.plist enable the AHCI Rename XXXX -> HDEF (which ever is correct for your system) Example: My native DSDT uses HDAS so I use the HDAS -> HDEF Rename. And use Devices/Audio/Inject to set the layout-id you want use. Undo any changes you made to your DSDT regarding HDEF or remove HDEF SSDT if using Hot Patch. After the above is complete, reboot and look at HDEF device in IOREG. alc-layout-id property value should show the id you set in Clover Devices/Audio/inject. layout-id property value will be the target id in AppleHDA that AppleALC has remapped the layout you want to use to and will patch. (this is usually 7) The layout re=mapping is necessary to negate the depreciated id's that Mojave has dropped support for. All versions of AppleALC ver 1.2.8 and above will do the layout re-mapping regardless of MacOS version. AppleALC deals with injecting all of the necessary device properties for you If you manually specify them in DSDT, SSDT or as custom device property injections then it stops AppleALC from doing it's job correctly. Cheers Jay
