I'm having trouble booting my Hackintosh Monterey installation on a Lenovo ThinkPad T440p with OpenCore 1.0.0 Debug. I've partially disabled the Intel ME firmware using me_cleaner, but when I try to boot, I get stuck with the following error message: "Registered CoreAnalyticsHub function with xnu" I suspect that there's an issue with one of my SSDT files, but I'm not sure which one or how to debug the problem. Here are the details of my setup: Lenovo ThinkPad T440p Intel Core i7-4702MQ CPU 12GB DDR3 RAM Intel HD 4600 Graphics OpenCore 1.0.0 Debug Monterey Intel ME partially disabled with me_cleaner I've attached my EFI and DSDT folders for reference. If anyone could take a look and provide some guidance on how to troubleshoot this issue, I'd greatly appreciate it. Specifically, I'd like to know: How to debug which ACPI table is causing the errorI, If there's a missing SSDT file that I need to create to boot successfully, and any potential issues with my current SSDT files that could be causing the problem. I've tried searching online for solutions, but so far, I haven't found anything that addresses this specific error message. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated! T440P.rar

[Help] Upgrade Monterey to Ventura or Sonoma?
MaLd0n replied to Montelli's topic in Hardware Components and Drivers
--Full EFI folder EFI Montelli.zip -Delete old EFI folder and paste new. Don't use merge files -Don't use Drag and Drop into EFI partition. Use Copy/Paste instead -Reset NVRAM one time - with OpenCore use entry "Reset Nvram" / with Clover use F11 key on boot screen or --Update things https://www.olarila.com/topic/38117-how-to-update-opencore-and-kexts-easy-way-with-ocat/- 1 reply

HP EliteDesk 800 G4 / G5 Mini with RX560x dGPU (hackintosh)
deeveedee replied to deeveedee's topic in Installation Guides
I have ordered the discrete VRM components from vendors on AliExpress. They're going to take some time to arrive. I'll report back again when I have soldered the components onto the 35W motherboard and re-tested the i7-8700. My desired outcome is that the additional components allow the 35W motherboard to provide sufficient power to the i7-8700 during benchmarks (a test that previously failed). I can't believe that I'm the first to try this crazy stunt, so if someone has already tried this, please report your findings. Note that I found that the 65W motherboard would not POST after these same discrete VRM components were removed. I think the worst case scenario is that the 35W board boots fine with the additional components, but does not utilize them. Keeping my fingers crossed.- 51 replies

Problems on X79 chipset with Monterey Opencore
Hangten replied to Bud420's topic in New Users Lounge
OK, I’m late to the game. I read through this entire thread and I have been running an Asus x79 deluxe now with Monterey I never had a problem I even upgraded cpu E2690v2 from my 4820k. All is well until I swapped in E1680v2. I have tried a lot even creating new DSDT in Windows and Ssdt patching for the life of me at a dead end with opencore so has anyone tried clover using a E1680v2 ? Monerey -

@MaLd0n Privet. Your efi is good - Ventura and Sonoma are working. I have a few questions about settings: - I correct ssdt.aml in the processor section from 00 to 19 threads but I was wondering of my 13600 KF - 6 or 14 cores? - what's the right way? (6P+8E). Geekbench 6 see as 1 processor 6 cores 20 threads but I see 14 cores instead 6 in results of Geekbench 6. - I see the CPUFriend kext. He is made for my processor or I need to make a new one? I insert to config plist my PowerPlayTayble for 6800XT but I don't have the sound from HDMI. What could it be? I'll delete the extra kexts on WiFi, Lan. Thanks for the help! -
Greetings, I currently use MacOS 12.4, is it better to upgrade to Ventura or Sonoma? and what should I do to update? I'm using OpenCore version 0.8.7 and my hackintosh setup is: i7-8700K Asus Rog Strix z370-E Coolermaster Seidon 120mm c3 plus Asus rog rx 560 O4G Gaming Hd Western Digital Black 1TB M.2 Nvme Samsung 960 Evo 250GB DVD-Rw LG-GH24NSD1 Evga g3 Super Nova 750W 80+ Gold G-Skill F4-3200C16D-16GTZ Zalman Z9 Neo White Case for wifi I use ASUS USB-N13 and for bluetooth asus bt400 I look forward to your kind reply, thank you

ID15 = only internal mic works, headset/line in never appears | speaker and headphone sound ok no autoswitch ID16 = only internal mic works, headset/line in never appears | speaker (no sound) /headphone (ok) autoswitch ok This codec is very frustrating, everything happens internally and there is no indication (other than working/not working) as to how to set inputs/outputs beyond the obvious, but that doesn't really work, so some switching must occur when plug detect happens and the inputs reconfigure internally. the way it kinda works is by letting the pins map, and then switching using vref so it is now an input, and somehow the routing works, so it is internally patched, like the speaker out. but if we do that before appleHDA maps the pins, then the node is disabled. I just installed Catalina and I'm trying VoodoHDA and see if it can give some insight into how the headset mic works, but by default both mics are plugged to the same input node 19, so the headset node is disabled at boot by voodoohda. I'll try to patch it so internal mic defaults to node 20 and maybe voodoohda will give us a clue.

When I connect my display with an HDMI or a display port cable I have regular micro freezes for half a second each 40 seconds (approximately) even if the system is idle. The simplest way is to move the mouse in circles. When I connect my display with the DVI port or in the case of the RX 6600 with a display port to DVI adapter my system is running smooth. No freezes at all. Unfortunately I do not remember what was the starting point of this issue as at the beginning of my setup (RX 5500) I could not remember to face this. I have tried this with a RX 5500 TX and a RX 6600. I changed the resolution for my screen. I tried to change my symbios (currently running iMacPro1,1). I have done Mac OS updates (OSX Catalina, OSX Ventura, OS Sonoma). I switched from clover to open core. All of these setups behave in the same way. It does not matter - the only fix is to use DVI - unfortunately it does not support 4K and I have to connect line out via the audio jack. Do someone has a hint where I can look for further information? Any ideas what can be the root cause? Best regards

Sorry, my mistake. ID15 should work now too. This is a trial for HP Elite X2 G3. With ID12 in the release, the speakers break after 2 minutes in battery mode, with my trials everything was fine. Combination sockets in switch mode are often difficult. Archiv.zip

Marvell (Aquantia) 10 Gb Ethernet support thread
sines replied to d5aqoep's topic in LAN and Wireless
Thanks! However, my reason(s) are for the McFiver are trifold — I own a few already It can hold up to 32TB of M2 NVMe (currently, 8TB) 10G LAN + extra USB-C So I'm going to keep searching for Marvell .kexts.. using it for the NVMe storage in the meantime in Ventura. Thx! -
Haven't gotten the module yet, shipping. The DP ports certainly don't show the resolution that i need (even with the known apps). It works in Windows though. EDIT: interestingly, having only one displaying port in use seems to support hot-plug. When i tested a docking station with HDMI output (throuch USB-C DP ALT), none of the displays reverted signal. Each on its own (when booting so) seems to hot-plug just fine.

Do you see any difference between the HDMI and the DP ? I tried this before and it looks exactly the same. And yes, you have to adjust your device properties and usb map.

I've lost the fight to get 5120x1440@60Hz. Tried many of the options from the WEG Framebuffer, even tried mixing some, to no avail. But i did manage to find a HP Flex IO HDMI v2, which is a HDMI 2.0 and a lot better than the DP 1.2 ports. I've done the USB Mapping when that port had the USB-C module. I suppose i have to go through it again, but any clue how the HDMI will be "routed" to the GPU? Anyone tried that? Does macOS detect it, obviously i have to change one of the connectors to HDMI in Device Properties.
