    Asus UX305CA UHD TouchScreen

Try listing your method? Whats on your config.plist? What kexts are you using? What Graphics Flag or method to get your gpu recognized? What smbios? Well I'm sure if you give details people here will be more willing to help. Here's a great place to start, but remember your a pioneer with the hardware you have so keep trying http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/298027-guide-aio-guides-for-hackintosh/?do=findComment&comment=2020598 Oh Welcome to Insanelymac (what a learning curve)!!

    OS X 10.11.4 is out!

@maleorderbride Its not changed its simply an edit in clover under options for when you reboot. My SMBIOS is unchanged. Edit are not permanent at the Clover menu under options, when you reboot its back to what ever you had originally. Just saying for clarity. I will look into that "set GFX1 in your SSDT/DSDT" "You do not need to change your SMBIOS for an update" I never said you did. Perhaps I need to edit my post with 1. First Install update 2. When rebooting at Clover go to options change to smbios 5,1 remove nvda_drv=1 ( the screen will be black if you don't) 3. AGDPfix 4. Install new Nvidia 10.11.4 drivers http://www.insanelym...03222016/page-1 5. update CUDA

    OS X 10.11.4 is out!

All good here with just a few steps required for the EVGA GTX 670 on Asus X79 Deluxe (hint new UEFI March 2016 update 4805 enables NVMe support) to work using smbios Mac Pro 6,1. First Install update: At Clover go to options change to smbios 5,1 remove nvda_drv=1 ( the screen will be black if you don't) 1. AGDPfix 2. Install new Nvidia 10.11.4 drivers http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/306535-nvidia-web-driver-updates-for-el-capitan-update-03222016/page-1 3. update CUDA Thats really all that was wrong using the components in signature.

  5. You can install Clover on to a USB, having it be Fat 32. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2zAShw23sJI You can use Transmac search SourceForge. To create an HFS+ disk or USB and so on. Free Trial that works completely I don't see your hardware info? I or someone else could simply send you the Clover EFI folder. You would simply use it on the FAT 32 Patrician and get that part over with. You can get all your kext, config.plist, DSDT, SSDT that you need and stick them in Clover as Windows treats it just fine. As for getting the OS X DMG bootable you could use Macdrive. Well my little 2cents into the matter. Welcome to Insanelymac!

UEFI boot from internal drive problem

ST9500325AS so if you take that out and use an external drive cradle to USB. What happens?

UEFI boot from internal drive problem

Use the older Disk Utility in debug mode mount EFI on your installer and then EFI in your HDD and move the EFI from the installer to your EFI on your HDD http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/file/480-disk-utility-patched-v2/ Make sure you copy your installer EFI and delete replacing the one in the HDD Your using Clover Im thinking....
  8. HP Pavilion dm4 what version is it? HD 3000 Graphics? First of all did you do get the appropriated kexts have you followed a certain guide? Are you using a USB thumb drive with Clover and OS X Yosemite? List as much info as possible so other members can help you. Oh Welcome to Insanelymac and its a learning curve so your in the right place.
  9. I would just lower the voltage on the cpu and set the speed depending on the heat being generated. IMO use the i5 4690. Most motherboards have setting for thermal monitoring so you would be hard pressed to damage the chip. Worst case is freezing and a reboot if your thermals go too high. You can also change the bus speed in Clover and multi in your DSDT or SSDT to give you a desired speed in OS X. And look into the power management stuff here on insanelymac it will allow you to see that you can adjust how many speed steps you have access too. I personally only have like three and thats fine with me. 12, 24, 37 on the multi. What about just buying an Intel NUC? I can't imagine you would have any issues with your Mini-ITX case if a NUC is able to run at reference clock speeds. Considering a higher end NUC appears to run fine with a cpu thats no slouch.

    Boot flag help

http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/176475-how-to-asus-striker-ii-extreme-successful-install/ http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/127212-leopard-on-series-7-nvidia-nforce-mcp-intel-cpu-mobos/?p=899331&do=findComment&comment=899331 Well I would say you have a nice challenge getting your hackintosh going... I would go ahead put in your Extra/Extensions folder with the AppleNForceATA.kext using Snow Leopard and see if you can get installed. Yes, create it by creating a new folder and naming it Extensions and put your appropriate kext in it. Drop the smbios.plist into the "Extra" folder. Im sure you need more than a few kext in there like the nullcpupowermanagement.kext. try getting some tools in the download section here on Insanelymac http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/file/210-hackintosh-vietnam-ultimate-aio-tool/

    New Skylake build Clover issue

http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/275941-very-important-please-read-about-tonymacx86-and-iatkos-m-y/ smbios from reading and knowing should be iMac 17,1 and your kext folder is wrong (seriously why the sensors), Try the clover found here http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/file/424-agdpfix/ in the downloads section I use a third party usb 3 card and so do others that work natively to get me out of a jam, disabled my internal usb ports (all of them, then I fix it). I am aware not everyone has the time to go out and get an additional card and I'm not tell you to do so. Just trying to help but try one of insanelymacs thread on Z170. Thats stuff on the sensors should be in the FakeSMC.kext if you right click show package Content

    OSX on hardware RAID

Try with your installer if it sees the hardware RAID as a disk then yes you can install right onto it, as for boot I use a fat32 USB 1gb micro flash card with clover on it or just use one of my other installs as my boot drive. Tried Mountain Lion in hardware RAID but it can't see my Marvell controller, does not work unless its a software RAID. Im not on an LSI Controller but my board comes with a built in Marvell RAID that is recognized by 10.9.0 and above. I can install right on to it configured in RAID 0
  14. Update requires AGDPfix for GTX 670, simply changing to smbios to MacPro 5,1 in Clover options is required if your greeted with a black screen. Sound ok, USB 3 a little flaky.

    Yosemite 10.10.5 Post Issues

SMBIOS should be iMac(edit my bad thought you were on X58) you can generate one using Chameleon wizard . From what remember owning a ATI HD 4850 you needed to have the right boot loader with your cards ID and that was using Chameleon version xxxx or what ever was most recent. Not all Chameleons could allow the GPU to be correctly identified. Radeon HD AMD 6870 I believe at the time was one of the easiest cards to get to work you also selected to frame buffer for the particular card and added that to Chameleon. If I come across the thread I will post it so you can get it corrected. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/278553-make-asus-eah6850-100-work/?hl=%2Bradeon+%2Bhd+%2Bamd+%2B6870&do=findComment&comment=1817263 Posted the link in the direction so you can learn what I mean, my advice is to not give up you will get it eventually. Its not uncommon to have to do kext edits when ever you update and so on. Get use to learning with every new update it seems.
