vbetts
I've got a blue Clamshell G3 Ibook with 576 mb ram, 30 gb 5400 rpm HDD, still the stock CD drive.=[ My dad has a G4 500 AGP which he is going to get a dual 1.8 CPU upgrade for it soon, and probably a Radeon 9800. But, I'm actually looking at a powerbook. http://www.macofalltrades.com/G4_1_5GHz_Po.../g4867pb121.htm And, if I can't get that, might as well save up alittle more for a Macbook. br0adband
I have a MacBook Pro that I just got, also picked up a 20" iMac for the Wife. Along with these two new machines I have my trusty Dell Inspiron 4150 I've had for a long time now, and I just got a smokin' deal on a Dell Inspiron 600m that arrived on Thursday which is now running Vista RC2. bb

toddicus
Currently I have a MacBook and it's really the best Mac I've owned, though the G5 was pretty great too. I bought my first Mac in 1992 (when I was 11) and I have owned in the past... G5 1.8 Ghz Dual 800 G4 Dual 450 G4 iMac G3 333mhz Beige G3 233mhz about 8 PowerMac 7200s and 7300s and 1 8500 (I was working on a linux cluster, never finished) PowerBook 5300 (the last grayscale laptop Apple made, I should have saved my money and waited) Performa 6116 CD Performa 475 (25 mhz) Macintosh IIci Mac SE Mac Plus (8 mhz 68000 proc, with a crazy tweak also known as a massive 4 MB of ram soldered together and stuck in one slot, and hot-wired no case 17.4 MB external HD) Mac Plus (first one, bought for $150 broken, had to get out the soldiering iron to get this one working) OH, almost forgot, somewhere in there I had (still have it actually) a Newton 100, it was cool for about a month, then I lost interest. Still a neat thing, felt real solid too, wish my Palm was as solid as that thing was.
