Im stuck at the same thing...as well as others....no one seems to know...or care to answer and help...what the problem is with this.

 

Soooo...dont hold your breath.

 

After finished i have same problem!!!I try search info for solve it...but now it still there. Anyone know?pls...help me! Or anyone have idea for this problem. I try reinstall...but i still happen!?

I have a gigabyte ds3 and I tried to intstalla uphuck 1.3 on my pc. I have an hdd on jmicron port, I success installing (native disabled, mode ide) but on reboot it don't do anything.. no boot at all.. like it is waiting something. (I had success with previous version like 10.4.8) what can I do?? thanks

Hi

 

I want to install Uphuck's 1.3 release on this configuration:

 

HP Pavilion a1023c Desktop PC:

 

Pentium4 630 (P) HT 3.0 GHz

Intel 915GV INTEGRATED Video or Nvidia FX 5500 PCI (I would pick the one with the most support)

3 GB of DDR2 SDRAM

80 GB WD IDE HDD

Realtek ALC 880 Audio chipset

DVD+R DL Drive

 

I was wondering 3 things:

 

1. Which audio package is should I use (I see there is a Realtek one, but will it work?)

2. Which video package is should I use (There is an Intel 910GV and 950GV which one - Is there an even better option with my Nvidia Card?)

3. Which kernel should I use as I have no clue in that department.

 

Also, which update to 10.4.10 should i use after i install?

No Volume (SATA DRIVE) Identified to install to, stuck at that stage

 

Using v1.3

 

Any ideas ?

 

it's a nforce 680i board # I'm not expecting any mega fixes becasue of that but I hav't had a crash\issue before that stage, i.e. the GUI Boots!

i started to download this, and im not sure..any think its worth it, or should i just update my 10.4.8 to 10.4.9 to 10.4.10?

 

If you have 10.4.8 installed, it is not worth downloading another install DVD.

Follow this guide to update to 10.4.9:

Super DVD!

 

My hackintosh is working. But I can't figure out which VGA Driver I need to select so that the ATIRadeon9700.kext wil be active/loaded and not in the Extensions_Disabled directory. I've tried a few, but if anyone knows, please inform me. But everything else works as it supposed to.

 

I've been installing OS X for the last few days, but no luck yet :( . Isn't their something like a help guide for Uphuck 1.3 that can tell me which install uses which kexts? It sure would be helpfull.

Hi guys,

I've just made the installation of this dvd but I have some problems.

The installation proceed well but when I reboot I get only flashing cursor no OSX booting.

why? I've selected all kernels, patches, drives is this correct?

 

I have an Intel CPU 630. on a Intel915GAG mainboard with vga integrated.

What do I have to select for installation?

but it says nothing about which kernel, patches or driver install.

Maybe is another guide?

Though there the nfocrce4 drivers, I' like to try & add the to the DVD however , without a MAC & hence, without hdiutil, I'm unable to edit the CDR\ISO image to update the extesnions.mkext

I know, hopefully I made that clear in the post. I realise that there's probably no practical way to get that driver into the DVD by default, asw no one else could boot, so I thought I'd share my solution. To reiterate, only use my patch if you want to use the uphuck 1.3 DVD to install to a SATA drive on a nForce4 (CK804) system! Not nForce430, not MCP51! :D Having said that, hope this helps a few people. Also, I've found the driver to be very stable on CK804 chipset, no corruption with months of usage.

 

 

No! They are for patching your install disk only, if you want to install to a SATA drive on an nForce4 system! Not once you have installed! :D

can you devlop a dirver for me to use or do you know of one ?

Ok this is what I did

  1. hit enter at startup to start installation
  2. before installation screen I got this errors: Can't load /System/Library/privateframeworks/netinfo.framewarok/resources/lookupd/Agents/DS.bundle/DS
  3. Airpor driver not found
  4. Then I create with disk utility a partition (MAC OS Extended journaled) called OSX
  5. Then I select this in customization menu:

  1. 10.4.9 INTEL

  2. Kernel Intel SSE2

  3. Kernel Intel SSE3 -1

  4. Kernel Intel SSE3 -2

  5. IOATA Family

  6. loginwindow

  7. vga drivers for intel GMA900

 

Stop nothing more.

When the installation is finish, after reboot I get this error:

system config file ‘/com.Apple.boot.plist’ not found

 

why?!?!

uphuck 1.3 is supoused to rock with yr box

try

kernel universal 3

select last 4 patches

setup indespensable drives only

via chipset drivers for hdd

try nvidia4 pkg for vga

good look

Hi folks.

 

Got another PC I could try 10.4.9 on and decided to test it with the following hardware:

 

Motherboard: Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe

CPU: Athlon XP X2 4800+

RAM: 4 GB

HD: Mixed ATA and SATA (Primary Master: Seagate ATA disk as system disk. Secondary Slave: Maxtor ATA as Data drive)

DVD: Pioneer DVR-112D (Secondary Master)

Graphicscard: Asus EN7800 GTX (256 MB memory)

 

These were the options I selected as far as I can remember:

Universal Kernel 3

Remove old AHCI

Remove Power Management

Verbose Mode

NVidia Titan

USB

Realtek R1000

Auzelia (or what it's called - soundcard drivers)

 

And a stash of programs.

 

I got it installed in the very first go, and proceeded to configure it better. Couldn't have worked out smoother. :thumbsup_anim:

 

What I've discovered that OSX sometimes lock up when I use the HD a lot (unpacking files or moving files). Also I've had a few kernel panics (2 AFAIK) and I've had to reset the machine after this and after the lockups quite a few times. Also sound is not working and I've setup the Audio Midi (in regards to 6 ch output).

 

So all in all most stuff works, it's just unstable.

 

I've attached a picture of the kernel panic screen in verbose mode.

 

If anyone have any suggestions as to what could help solving the instability I'd be very very pleased! :)

Ok when i put disc in pc and restart computer, it says press any button to install mac os x or w/e. press it, it starts and i get an error "AppleHDA.kext unable to locate layout_id properly."

 

Anyone know what this means? i have 2 250 gb sata hard drives

My harddrive setup: 2 x IDE and 1 x SATA. OS X has its own IDE drive (3 partitions, 2 for OS X and 1 for backing stuff up so I don't have to download everything every time I reinstall...which happens much more often than I'd like :thumbsdown_anim:).

hey everyone. I successfully got Uphuck's 10.4.9 1.3 installed perfectly on the 1st try. I'm soo happy. Got network and sound as well as 1280x1024 screen resolution. much faster than Vista (and prettier too). Anyway one thing that's bothering me is i'm not sure how to enable quartz extreme. I'm using Intel 865G intergraded graphics. much help appreciated.

Ok first off just want to say good job on the install dvd. It worked very well for my PC.

That being said, I have an issue. I cannot get my Asus radeon x1600pro or my HIS radeon x800 GTO to work properly and I would like to get at least one of them working. I have tried all sorts of forums and so far all I can get is the Diabolik installer to work enough to get all the resolution choices but I have this weird checkerboard pattern overlaying the screen and it makes it hard to see, it also has no 3d acceleration. I just need this to work at 1280x1024 and let me run Finalcut.

Please someone out there if you have any useful information help me.
