Updated the Download Full Installer repo with initial support for macOS Tahoe.
Note that Tahoe beta is listed in the PublicSeed catalog.
Package name in the catalog list doesn't include the word Tahoe but it is visible in the ToolTip, and the build number is correct.

Regarding the name Tahoe in the package, I've noticed that GibMacOS displays it the same way.

"Well we have a winner"

After I finished installing with the integrated graphics card,

I plugged in the RX 580 and continued so I could see.

I don't know what Apple is thinking but this time they made it really hard..

But this time too I am sure that the team (insanely) here and opencore team will give us the victory. 😇😘

Did you physically disconnect the rx 580?

In my case, I have an IGPU, see NEW: below, I only had to activate the IGPU as default and deactivate the Radeon RX570 to install, but it still crashes once you enter the system waiting for OpenCore and Kext to update, but this has been super fast, we were afraid of not having support, the OpenCore team is great.

OMG I love this! I've never thought to comment on each port to let me know where they are. Never know I could. Cool.

Finally, I have the Ryzen 1600AF in Tahoe... 🫡

I no longer need macOS on the 9600x, which I have running Windows and an RX9700, which I get more out of.

I have no problems with anything with the B450, everything works perfectly, unlike the X870, which doesn't work with the I226V.

Capturadepantalla2025-06-13alas18_53_46.thumb.png.01de6ef2898ca07d9e3a4877c9d76a80.png

I might try it on another computer, I have a 13600K, basically just to learn, because it wouldn't be worth it with macOS at home either, but since it's Intel, it should work like a charm.

@Shaneee, do you have any recommendation to solve this ?  Or should I wait until for Tahoe issues are solved so I can make a fresh install?

Progressing step by step. Downloaded full installer in other Sequoia installation, started installation on this partition and it succefully completed and logged in. So far, only missing thing is ethernet  thanks  @miliuco

Gonna retire again for the night but got much further then last night. I now get to the Language screen but have no usb so cannot proceed further. After verifying the SSDT.UIAC works in Sequoia it does not recognise usb ports at that loading screen so I am still in the bush. Looks like I will have to give up on this Tahoe on my Hack. Not working on Z890 nor the Z790. Thanks @Cyberdevs for the help you provided to get me that far.

Try booting with SSDT-RHUB-reset.aml along with your SSDT-UIAC.aml.

Well, after updating Lilu, I'm now getting stuck at:

KextLog: kernelmanagerd is not active
KextLog: Loading FileSet KC(s)

I guess that's an improvement. :))

I think we might still need some updates here and there before we can boot this successfully.

Update1:

Get this: after DISabling WhateverGreen.kext it booted into the installer! Now it's kind of looping between loading bar with Apple logo, and some screen in Tahoe... No actual window displayed, just the background.

SMBIOS: MacPro7,1

Still testing a couple of things. But this is the first time in a few days when I can actually get further than errors, stuck, reboots and so on so forth.

Update2:

I've re-enabled WEG, but I'm still getting that loop between the loading bar with Apple logo and that screen that I think is the first setup screen of the installer. So...good and bad news, I guess. And, at least for RX580, I think we might need an update of some sort, or another kind of fix that doesn't require WEG. But I don't know of such fix.

Update3:

Disabling WEG again and booting from the USB, I get to recovery, and...installation starts. But...even if it finishes successfully (fingers crossed), I don't think I'll be able to boot it without an update of WEG kext.

IMG_3103.thumb.jpg.15b478df80dc00a6b783cc0dda5d7271.jpgIMG_3102.thumb.jpg.ebd98a5473543792ef97189bb9b35c65.jpg

Second stage is up apparently. Still without WEG (disabled in config).

image.thumb.jpeg.a1b8a361a9d79b4dc5653735c7b6e273.jpeg

Update4:

Final stage doesn't go through unfortunately. It goes back to looping between loading bar with Apple logo and what I'm assuming to be probably Setup Assistant screen or something. But unfortunately it doesn't go through.

So yeah...we're gonna need to fix that RX 580 issue somehow.

@HyperX7 I tried script but gives me error Not sure if the script is the right one .In case it is we have to wait for @chris1111 to update the driver for Tahoe

PS The script is right so we have to wait for someone capable of fixing the issue.....

I have no ethernet so without wifi Im am stuck

Congratulation for your successful installation of TaHoe in your Hackintosh.

Can you share your config.plist without personal data because I want to try RX-6600XT without IGPU at TaHoe too.

What I did notice during the installation and what other might experience is that it sits on a black screen for a while. If @MaLd0n never told me to leave it at that screen and just wait, I would have kept rebooting it. I waited for almost 17 minutes on the black screen and then it loaded into the language screen and all went smooth from there. After that initial long start up it boots into the OS really quick. Now just to wait for the OCLP Team to get BCM Wifi working again.

Thanks so much for this EFI. With a few tweaks, it works fine on an old Lenovo L390. I didn't expect that, lol 😆

It's a laptop with a broken Wi-Fi port, and I use it as a desktop computer, with a keyboard, mouse, and wired network. The i5 8365U still responds well.Capturadepantalla2025-06-14alas3_20_47.thumb.png.351c46bf97d60d01debc5ddee2538d84.png

Hello legends - I need a hand here!

I get the startup error 🚫 after the last line: AppleIntelLpssI2CController

Do you think it is touchpad related issue?

IMG_9403.heic 318.88 kB · 5 downloads

It's definitely related to your trackpad.

MacOS expects "AppleIntelLpssI2CController" and your Dell uses "LPSS I2C" controller.

You can try to disable it completely until you finish installation, using -vi2c-off boot arg.

Or you can try to use VoodooI2C and VoodooI2CHID kexts with -voodooi2c-force-polling boot arg.

Another option is to disable it in bios until you get it installed and use a mouse.

Hi Guys.

I managed to successfully upgrade from Sequoia 15.5 to macOS 26 Tahoe Beta on my Skylake NUC6i5SYH after a few tweaks to my OC EFI config...

Spoiler

macOSTahoeBetaonNUC6i5SYH.thumb.png.ac0e8c8871de155e40387ec2b64e04f3.png

OCbootmenu.thumb.png.83dd99431bdaa2cf95c72236590e4b5c.png

Preparation

  • Changed SMBIOS in OC config.plist/Platforminfo/Generic/SystemProductName to one that is still supported by macOS 26 eg iMac20,1
  • Add boot arg -lilubetaall to OC config.plist/NVRAM/Add/7C436110-AB2A-4BBB-A880-FE41995C9F82/boot-args
  • Update OC and kexts to latest available: OC from 1.0.4 to 1.0.5_15cdd853, Lilu v1.7.1, VirtualSMC v1.3.7, WhateverGreen v1.7.0.  Revise USBMap.kext to new format for Tahoe.

Upgrade Notes

  • Temporarily logged out of iCloud (on my real Mac M4 MBP, it prevented upgrade from Sequoia until I disabled Find My Mac)
  • Download full installer app and create USB installer with createinstallmedia.  Make sure your OC EFI is able to boot the USB installer to ensure as smooth an upgrade as possible.  I then booted to my Sequoia volume and ran the full installer app from there to perform the upgrade install of my hack.
  • Cosmetic - added Tahoe icons to OC/Resources/Image/Acidanthera/GoldenGate.  Note naming icons file to Apple26.icns instead of Apple 16.icns.

@MaLd0n Good day Maestro, hoping you see this post and offer some aid to my predicament.

The attached Files are my normal for booting and running Sonoma and Sequoia.

Unfortunately Tahoe is proving quite difficult so you're my last hope to getting some way with it.

Thank you in anticipation.

Send me iMac.zip 8.71 MB · 2 downloads

Because we have similar hardware and my Z490 hackintosh can boot TaHoe successfully as posted here before.

Can you try my working config.plist with OC 1.0.5 ?
