Guys, up until now I've been using an USB Ethernet card to keep things simple, and it works fine, but does the Intel i226v integrated onboard work in Tahoe?

The driver I'm trying, "AppleIGC.kext," isn't working for me. Does anyone have it working?

Same on Sequoia, the I226-V does not work for me

What i found with the I226-V in Sequoia is that if you use the kexts and patch to get Broadcom wifi  working then the appleIGC.kext wont wrk and the I226-V Lan wont work but if you disable the patch for IOSskyfamily.kext and related kexts and patches then it works.

Hey guys,

I see we're getting a fix for kext injection compatibility for MacOS Tahoe according to this commit.

Has anyone tried the latest builds of OC on Tahoe? Did it make a difference to you guys? I tried one of the latest ones earlier today but didn't make a difference to me. Just curious if it did to you.

I used the version as of last night for me and did not help. I did not check the release notes to see if this was available at the time though.

Just curious, because I haven't used a Hackintosh for a while now. I've barely used it since Ventura...

And I'm wondering, since when can the RX6000s work without WEG? ...

I accidentally disabled WEG due to a glitch, and the RX6650XT continues to work at 100%

So I solved my problem with my internal webcam not working.  I needed to reset the USB RHUB using SSDT-RHUB-Reset.aml.  I need to use this every time I boot into Tahoe.  When I don't use it, my USB ports detected looks like this:

When I use the RHUB-reset, it looks like this:

Maybe others with trouble getting all of their USB ports detected can try this method.  It's an option in the USBMap-tahoe-test app.

Oh, and another thing.  Sometimes it takes me 2 times to boot up.  I get into a boot loop and need to power off the laptop and restart.  So far, it will boot up correctly on the second try.  Also, my ethernet adapter is either going to sleep on me or stops working for some unknown reason.  I was able to get it to work again without rebooting by going into the networks settings for ethernet and making the service inactive and then reactivating it.

@PoMpIsPut this bootarg pci=0x8000000 and reboot

The patches for am5 are broken, with bootarg you get back to working all

Well, it started with that boot flag, but in 30 seconds there is no more traffic, although the card is still active, I have to deactivate and activate it and it works again for another 30 seconds, and so on continuously.

@miliuco  sorry but it's not updated the app , I don't see Tahoe or am I doing something wrong?

I just linked the repo, but I've been away for a few weeks and the app hasn't been adapted to Tahoe. There isn't much code to change. I'll get back home tomorrow and try to update it.

The original developer's repository has not been updated for 3 years.

Thank you very much!! but it seems impossible, something is not right with this i226v, sometimes it works for 30 seconds, other times for 1 minute... but no more...

I have noticed and being in MacOS, if I disconnect the cable, MacOS does not notice and continues to mark the connection as working in settings/network 🤷‍♂️

What was the issue of VoodooI2C?

It was preventing the installation to reach the login screen and I am still trying to figure out the way around this cause my mouse & trackpad are not working as we speak. I am still trying to figure out how to map my USB's, as the provided way in this forum is failing on my side.

As for the trackpad, its a race issue between the Voodoo and Apple's own driver 🤔. We have to wait till the 2nd release

After running the ./USBMap.command, I get "KeyError: 'port'" and I don't know what might be the cause.
