I will have to look at this thread and others while watching success stories while I lurk in the dark saying "My precious, my precious" and not be able to experience the Tele Tubbies Tahoe on my hackintosh. I ended up putting all equipment back into my Ultra 9 PC late last night, after 12 hours straight, I gave up and have no other tricks to try and will see where the road takes me. Seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel for this bloke and his hacks.

This makes me real sad because there is no way I am spending ~$300 for a new GPU. That money would be way better spent on a MacMini or toward a Macbook 😢

No worries for me. The reviews for Tahoe at the moment appear pretty underwhelming. I have Sequoia running well on my hack so no hurry. I will wait for things to mature. I do appreciate the work people are making to get progress.

Can someone maybe look at this Asus Z790-E EFI and see if I am doing something wrong. If I can install in that machine then I can transplant that nvme drive into the Ultra 9 PC and try and work from there. @MaLd0n @Cyberdevs Anyone 🙏

Is the Intel HD 620 Graphics is compatible?

I can now confirm that HD 620 is compatible, as I finally made it into Tehoa and VoodooI2C was the culprit all along.

Hi I upgraded my Sonoma disk which I did not use on my hp 1030 g1 Skylake and what a surprise it worked

I hope Chris111 will make the wifi driver working for the beta as I have no ethernet on this laptop and I have a Broadcom wifi card.

what I don't like they got rid of launchpad which I loved....

@Cyberdevs - Hiya Bud, your EFI got me to this screen and stalled.

Prior to tests today I tried Default BIOS settings with negative results.

I think I will have to play between BIOS setting and config.plist entries.

My fear is losing my self just going around in circles.

I thought this was MSI board was a breath of fresh air from my past Gigabyte Z590 board which I still have.

I am wondering if I should dig that out which I don't fancy the idea at all knowing it is not an easy board to Hack.

As far as I could see online, this issue is usually caused by WEG. Maybe...you need some flags or something to boot with the iGPU. I'm not sure. Ooor maybe we all need an update to WEG to fix our issue with booting this thing up.

I’m not at home right now but I will check it out later and see if I can find the issue

Is this for the board in your Signature? The Asus Z790-F. Can you share the EFI as i have a Z790-E with same GPU

No, I don't have that computer anymore, this is an Asus x870F gaming and a Ryzen 9600x

Can you still share the EFI because i also have the Asus Z890 ProArt and can maybe look at how you have your configured.

Yes, of course, here you have it.... It's an initial EFI for the board I'm testing, I still have to adjust things, but at least I have the USBs working and now I have the sleep mode working, and the system is very stable.

Guys, I have pre-released opencore and 10105 intel. I was tryed a few times but I have a reboots (maybe panic?) after logs. I was tryed to install from my SSD. I have RX470 and UHD630 (Comet lake). I also tryed to switch between these videocards but all the same - I have a reboots and I can't get to the installation.

Any advice please?

Kexts is minimum - green, lilu, virtual smc, intel mausi...

Guys, up until now I've been using an USB Ethernet card to keep things simple, and it works fine, but does the Intel i226v integrated onboard work in Tahoe?

The driver I'm trying, "AppleIGC.kext," isn't working for me. Does anyone have it working?
