Do you have windows installed on a separate drive?

if you do could you run geek bench via windows And make sure your scoring correct and it’s not a hardware fault?

good idea, I will try that and update you

Score is the same (see screenshot).

You are using Geekbench v 5.0 with new scores formula. Therefore, this is perfectly NORMAL. 100% fine. THey changed everything with the new version...

8700K gets around 1100-1200 and 9900K with default clock and voltage will get around 1350-1400 geek score 5.0

Seems like I can't get sidecar working on my new iPad.  Installed one of these today thinking it would fix the issue. :unsure:

Site tight and wait for new Whatevergreen and try again with iGPU enabled.

@AudioGod is testing the new beta version too.

I compiled the latest version yesterday and I run with iGPU enabled on 19,1, but headless mode.

Which means wifi issues... try using the airport fix kext ?

Yeah, I'm figuring that.  Will just return this wifi card and get $60 back.  Is there a compatible wifi dongle?  Rather use that than a card.

I'm using this one:

my computer: aorus z390 pro wifi , upgraded to F11 bios; 9900K; AMD 5700; 5K display with 2 DP lines ; BROADCOM BCM943602CS;

still have problem: 1) instant wakeup;

2).audio, if I connect 2 dp lines, no sound via dp port, but microphone is ok;if i connect with 1 dp line, display audio is ok, but couldd not 5k display.  when I chang to voodoohda, display audio is ok even with 2 dp lines, but the microphone could not work

I rather go with a usb dongle for aesthetics if possible.

did you try using airportfixup.kext and the Broadcom fix kexts from the guide for your WiFi card buddy?

BroadcomFix.zip

BroadcomFix.zip

I haven't tried the Broadcomfix.  I have tried the Airportfixup.  I was under the impression I wouldn't need any additional kext with this card being that it's natively supported.

Catalina changed what’s compatible and not somewhat but hey give it a try and see if it helps.

airportfixup.kext always helps when using a hack.

Hi ! Thank you for the AWESOME guide!

My system is:

Mobo: AORUS z390 Pro

CPU: i9-9900K

RAM: 2X16GB DDR4 3200Mhz

GFX: Sapphire RX 580 Pulse 8GB

Wifi / BT: Fenvi T919

SSD: Samsung 970 EVO NVME

On the samsung I already have Catalina installation that worked very good on a previous motherboard that got wrecked so I would prefer to use this instead of installing again.

If I ve got things right I have to:

  1. Download This: AudioGods Z390 PRO EFI RX F11 DSDT.zip
  2. Update Motherboard to F11 Bios
  3. Install Clover on a Boot USB and replace the EFI folder with the one on your zip file (after changing Serial Number etc. on config.plist)
  4. Connect the Fenvi Card on the PCIe slot and the cable on F_USB2.
  5. Boot from the USB Drive
  6. Hopefully the Catalina system will load successfully
  7. Mount the EFI partition on the nvme, copy the EFI folder from the USB to the EFI partition of the nvme.

Am I thinking clear? :D

your thinking is spot on buddy so crack on and enjoy :)

@WizeMan do this too

@larabee Has kindly made this bios profile for you all to use that will unlock CFG on your motherboard making it play alot more friendly with the NVRam.

It also has all the bios settings listed on this guide pre done and saved onto the profile.

1 - Download the profile and save it to a USB Key

2 - Go into the bios,

3 - Load the profile,

4 - Save and exit

5 - Go straight back into the bios and save your bios to a new profile and name it Default CFG Unlocked or something like that.

6 - Reset your Motherboard by removing the power cable and then remove the battery from the motherboard for a minute or two to clear out the bios fully.

7 - Go back into your bios and load back in the saved profile you made,

8 - Boot back into Catalina go into your clover config and under Kernal and Kext Patches Uncheck KernalPM

9 - Save the changes and then restart and your done, your motherboard will now be CFG (MSR) Unlocked

    PLEASE NOTE - If you reset the bios or load bios defaults it will clear the Unlock making CFG Locked again.

Looks like new WEG boot arg will fix our AMD DRM issues in 1.3.5 (not released yet):

- _How can I enable AMD DRM for Music, Safari, TV, leaving IGPU for other applications?_
Add `shikigva=16` argument to boot-args or to DeviceProperties in any GPU.

Quite promising. How can we get access to beta testing?
