Hi,

VRAM has been increased on the HD4000:

Only problem i'm facing on the Aspire V5-571G is that the integrated webcam does not work anymore. For Yosemite i needed the multiplex usb patch.

Did not have to make any changes to Clover to install.

On the left the IOUSBFamily.kext of Yosemite, on the right El Capitan:

The AppleUSBEHCI.kext is needed for the webcam, which is not present anymore. IOUSBHostFamily.kext is new, and contains those kexts.

Any Ideas how I can get a GTX 980 working ? Currently it starts only with nv_disable=1

For official support, you will have to wait until the Web Drivers for El Capitan come out. Or, you could always try the ones from Yosemite by changing /System/Library/CoreServices/SystemVersion.plist to 10.10.3 (Or whatever version of Yosemite). Make sure to change the build number too. I have a 960 and when I get around to making a new USB on my laptop I will do some testing. Good Luck!

Can you show us how to enable AMD 290X in 10.11 by editing config.plist of Clover boot ?

In Asus Z77 MB with Intel HD 4000 & Nvidia GTX780:

Need replaced by 10.10.3's AppleIntelFramebufferCapri.kext (10.6.20) & patched AppleHDA.kext (267.0) from Mirone (http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/298663-applehda-for-yosemite/)

Then both Intel HD4000 and GTX 780 (including HDMI audio) display and ALC-898 sound are working now.

Both bootloader (Chameleon & Clover) booted successfully.

Thanks for those contributed here !

Yay. Finally got El Kappa (this name is ridiculous) working on my machine. I've decided to use custom DSDT patched by me for my mobo. I used patch for replacing names from MaciASL Repository. It worked and installation ran completely smooth without any errors. I only use kext-dev-mode=1 in boot args. Everything works perfectly for now :)

Are there any performance improvements on our Hackintoshes? Or are those improvements only available for real macs?

I see a clear improvement with large PDF files ( mine is around 200 MB )

My GUI is a lot smoother on a GTX 650.

Mine shows a lot of improvement too on R9  270x

My config:

Core i7 4790k

Gigabyte gaming 3

ALC 1150 sound with patched appleHDA, audio ID 1

R9 270x

Everything works perfectly.

Thanks, but it do not work for my Asus AMD R9 290X card with 4 GB RAM booted by Clover.

Maybe it's due to different setup of display ports or I need patching AMD8000Controller by Hex Editor.
