I'm not with clover bootloader familiar, but the kernel must be installed in to folder: /System/Library/Kernels/
If the folder with the AMD kernel has not been installed, so create the folder and add the AMD kernel.

(or put the kernel into /Kext/10.10/ ) ? ---> I honestly do not know. :( .

Hello!

I spent the last three days with installing, googling, but I can't deal with this any more. I need some help.

My build:

- AMD FX-8350

- KINGSTON 2x8GB

- GA-990FXA-UD5

- SAPPHIRE RADEON HD 7950 3GB

- SAMSUNG SSD 840 Series

I successfully installed Hackintosh on my PC (downloaded from AppStore)

OSX version: Yosemite 10.10.5

Boot loader: Chimera

Kernel: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/file/461-amd-kernel-yosemite-10105-sseplus/

- installed this because the spinning wheel of death: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/file/354-amd-replace-kext-for-yosemite/

- patched AMDRadeonX4000 cail_properties

- patched AMD7000Controller - Futomaki framebuffer, this method: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/303186-how-to-modification-of-amd-fb-clover-injection/- binary patch instead of clover - didn't help... same as before...

- installed ACL889 audio: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/file/176-experimental-6-channel-applehda-for-alc889/with HDAEnabler

- installed RTL8111 ethernet: https://github.com/Mieze/RTL8111_driver_for_OS_X

- installed USB3.0: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/file/150-patched-appleusbxhci/

- installed FakeSMC

- enabled TRIM

My system is up and running, BUT only two of my three monitors are working. I spent the last 3 days debugging this issue, but I couldn't find a solution for that. The system recognises all three, but one of them (random) is black all the time (not blinking, black). I know there is a sleep/wake fix for that, but If I sleep my system, can't wake it again. More specifically it wakes up, but no usb, no ethernet, only the three frozen desktop. It hangs. I have to hard-reset all the time.

Could somebody please help me? I don't know how to fix the sleep/wake issue, but now my system is pretty much useless without the third monitor and/or the sleep.

Thank you!

Can someone help me?

Edit:

otherwise, write a message to rampagedev and ask him, if he can describe you an approach to solving the problem.

I do not know how this information will help you further.

Shaneee i added my system specs ( forgot sorry :) )

Ok. Try booting with -x -f -v kext-dev-mode=1 GraphicsEnabler=Yes or =No

You should be able to install like that but to get it working after you may need a DSDT patch to work which can be found here, http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/308652-r9-280x-toxic-3gb/?do=findComment&comment=2180452

I have got a new problem,i can't login App Store,iMessage etc.I have replaced these kext with originals : http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/file/354-amd-replace-kext-for-yosemite/

and i have got a smbios.plist .I think smbios doesn't load because of these kext. How can i fix it?

You'r SMBios looks very incomplete. I have made a new one still based on MacPro3,1 for you. Just replace the original. Make sure you'r org.chameleon.Boot.plist has the following in it,

SMBIOS
/Extra/SMBIOS.plist

@tokenduemon

AFAIK, iMessage doesn't work with Chameleon. Even on Intel Systems mainly because of a lack of nvram support.

Also, for AppStore to work, you must have an active/loaded Ethernet kext and make sure that OS X see it as en0 in System Profiler > Network > BSD Name.

Lastly, Ethernet Built-in must be set to Yes in your org.chameleon.Boot.plist

<key>EthernetBuiltIn</key>
<string>Yes</string>

About SN not showing, it maybe a bug in the patched kernel … Anyway, access to the App Store is not dependent on your SN, only Ethernet (MAC address actually) connection.

Did you tried to delete all connections in System Preferences > Network, hit "Apply", delete NetworkInterfaces.plist in /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration, repair disk permissions, reboot once then add your connections back beginning with Ethernet and hit "Apply" again ?

Should work

The other option is to patch en0 Built-in in to DSDT, you have the dsdt, open to the ioreg and follow these instructions from rampagedev. https://rampagedev.wordpress.com/guides/inject-ethernet-built-in-into-a-dsdt/

OK.

Maybe related, maybe not but you shouldn't need "AMD replace kext for Yosemite" with both kernels from y2k4u and spakk. I installed 10.10.5 (14F27 & 14F1021) without them, just one of these kernels and vanilla kexts and it works fine so far.

I don't read the hole post, but I have some questions: I'm on 10.10.1 and won't to update to 10.10.4 or 10.10.5 for Xcode. Do I have to download that update from the store and than install the kernel? I thought the update will finished after I reboot, so my kernel will be overwritten..... btw my cpu is FX 8350

after installing OS X or makes update, then install the AMD Kernel manual into the folder /S/L/kernels/ !!!

I am using 10.10.5_SSEPlus_V3 with npci=0x2000 nv_disable=1 parameters on a freshly installed Yosemite and updated with a combo update to 10.10.5, and I can see the login screen but when I try to login it just does not login and the spinner spins forever, what could be the reason?

PS: My CPU is FX-8150

for FX-CPU, you should install the content of the package  (replace kext (cache Yosemite AMD), then boot with: -f -v kext-dev-mode=1 npci=0x2000 nv_disable=1 and check where the system remains hanging.

it would be appropriate if you can write your hardware specifications in your signature , then we could better respond to your question.

replace kext (cache Yosemite AMD).zip

@spakk Thanks for the information, I installed the attachment you gave, now I get "unable to find driver for this platform acpi..." error and even if I replace the original kexts back from Windows it won't boot because I can't repair permissions from Windows, however I can boot to my USB Installation for Yosemite and I can use the terminal there. Is there a command that I can use in terminal to rebuild cache and repair permissions?
