Hi Andy, did you fix the bugs by now?

    ATI RADEON HD 8240 R3

He, It's easy to get started with either Clover or Enoch bootloader. With Enoch I used a combination of an Efi-string and DSDT with video.rom. You can generate these under windows operating system by using "Aida64 Engineer Tool". A free trial version is quite sufficient for this. There are various video tutorials on youtube, how to do that. a long time ago i uploaded an example dsdt under working builds, look here: Good luck.
  3. this is just a test with boot yosemite OSX 10.10 with last amd kernel rc7 of Bronya. It's a crazy idea of mine, to use the system driver data or even folders from 10.9.4, maybe that's a start on which we can build on it. I'm just now doing upload the video The experiment can test each. proceed as follows: 1) Install Yosemite OS X 10.10. on your USB Stick,.... there are many examples on how to do that. 2) copy the following System drivers from 10.9.4: "AppleACPIPlatform.kext, Corecrypto.kext, IOACPIFamily.kext, IONDRVSupport, IOPCIFamily.kext, IOUSBFamily.kext, Sandbox.kext, System.kext" and then paste the System drivers into Yosemite OS X 10.10 /System/Library/Extensions/ 3) copy the "Core Services" folder from your Mavericks USB install Stick ( 10.9.2 or a different Version), then paste into /System/Library/ 4) after you have made all these things, use Kext Wizard, repair the permissions and make an Extensions.mkext and add it to /System/Library/ 5) use the last amd mach_kernel_rc7_fix (for FX or older amd CPUs) of Bronya and paste it into the root directory, then the bboot from the USB Stick what I've found is that Yosemite can boot only with insert of "Core Services" folder from 10.9.4 or a different Version, then yosemite can boot with amd kernel. hence is a file in "Core Services" which must be the cause! here has to be found out which file is the prevented the boot. I suspect the boot.efi I'll test with original "Core Services" with bootefi from 10.9.4 and will report without success, there must be something else Test with amd kernel sorry for the quality, the original recording is about 1 GB in size and requires a lot of time to upload, which is a converted version with about 20 mb
  4. good news for AMD APU users with AMD Radeon HD 8240 series R3, After several attempts, I've been able to activate today my graphics card. More details, I'll write in next days, in advance a few pictures.
  5. Hi guys, I need testers who have netbook with Intel Atom or Celeron Processor I want to know, whether the kernel boots or not and If not, then upload an image with Details of what point the system gets stuck with information what bootloader do you use. thx 10.11.6-IPCA.zip
  6. Hey Coder, Since we have not made a step forwards, with building of working kernel for older AMD CPUs.....and now we hope that some talented Coder would rise to this challenge in order to fix the problem. If any information are desired, then just write a message
  7. Hey Allan, Hey Admin after the update has everything become very habituation. I share the same opinion as Mork-von-Ork and the other critical users here. the simplicity and ease of use of the website has gone missing. The design is not mine. Light gray and dark gray text color font on the blue background? I do not like it. As a wearer of glasses I have big problems to recognize everything.. Before the update it was much better. I'm only talking about the design. Nothing else. Very sad, I mourn the old website design and usability. In addition, I missing since the ubdate, many pages in the AMD Area.- No idea why they were forgotten to activate.

    Version V1

Here is a collection of data for El Capitan with various drivers, kernels, and DSDT's for AMD mainboards, for: Asrock Asus ECS Gigabyte MSI ..The Data contents can be also used successfully for other mainboards, the original AMD.dmg vers. comes from Rampagedev (for OS X Mavericks). I hope RampageDev has no objection, because I use its contents, but adjusted for El Capitan. (The thanks goes to RampageDev and the others, I hope this contents will help many AMD users)
  10. Version V3

The kernel posted here is build on the team effort at AMD Development Support for this kernel can be found here: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/302075-amd-yosemite-kernel-testing-for-help-use-the-help-topic/page-84?p=2169025&do=findComment&comment=2169025 Built of the source xnu-2782.40.9 This would not be possible without the efforts of: • Andy Vandijck • Bronya • Tora Chi Yo • Sinetek • R:A:W:X86 • Voodoo Team modified by spakk Info: This kernel is compatible with clean Install OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 Build (14F1021) Edit: 25.10.2015 Version 10.10.5_SSEPlus_V3 Edit: 19.09.2015 Version 10.10.5_SSEPlus_V2 It is always better to install the new kernel on a freshly installed version (clean Install without changes to the system drivers !! ) If after booting, this error occurs: .... kernel invalid opcode 64 bit ..... then follow these instructions: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/302075-amd-yosemite-kernel-testing-for-help-use-the-help-topic/page-85?p=2169188&do=findComment&comment=2169188 Edit: 20.09.2015

in Annex is an amd kernel, based on xnu-source 10.9.5, tested with Phenom II X6 T1100 If kernel should not run clean, then use the System.kext from the package or possibly using the data from the frameworks package folder, etc .... this kernel should work with older and new FX CPUs thx to Bronya, AnV and sinetek

    Hi all

    welcome here on insanelymac
  17. Hey Ydeng, is it possible to integrate the AVX2 into OPEMU, so that to emulate AVX2 features for older CPUs ? The problem may be caused by a unavailable AVX2 features. Please look at the content of this new file, since 10.12.0 : "osfmk/x86_64/lz4_decode_x86_64.s" Edit: Maybe I'm wrong with my guess. This assumption exists since apple has published the first Sierra source. Maybe someone has a viable solution to this problem. that comes very close to the note you've made here: (unfortunately I had other thoughts at that time) http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/322370-task-force-amd-to-missing-sse41-instruction-set-older-cpus-on-macos-sierra-1012x/page-4?do=findComment&comment=2497520
  18. is it possible that you "ve not listed sse4.1 in osfmk/conf/files.x86_64 ?
