You can correct me, but I mean that should be the setting for AMD so:

<key>PatchAPIC</ key>

<string>No</ string>

because if I want to start my system with chameleon bootloader with ACPI Patcher.dylib (in folder modules) then my system, does not work. Therefore, take this change in your config.plist and start again your system. Your partition is active, I was assuming that the partition is not active.

I cant find the config.plist and im not using clover im just using enorch chameleon bootloader only.

do you know where it is?

thanks for all the help!!

That's easy. The ACPIPatcher.dylib In the folder /Extra/modules/ if should there, then be removed and restart

hmmm. I do not understand. Please load your org.chameleon.boot.plist here.

and I start my computer, on the phone display is not all easy to recognize.

I would modify the flags in: -f -v kext-dev-mode=1 npci=0x2000 ....... (make the first boot with -v -f .. later then you can remove these flags)

...chouse your osx ..... throw out the {censored} ... uninteresting

but your system booted earlier, what have you done for changes?

Note once, never test on the main partition! only on a test partition or better on a external hdd!

because the {censored} work to fix the problems you have later.

All I did was delete a maverick partition because I realized that the maverick chameleon boot loader was the one that was booting the Yosemite partition and I didn't want the maverick partition anymore so I delete it.

If you have formatted your Main Partition "also Mavericks Partition" in this state can your system not boot, this is logical

... so you have now to install Enoch bootloader on your Yosemite Partition, so that your system can be booted.

That's What I did and it works but at boot I get that error and after 5 seconds then it boots normally!!

@jaylex what partition shown here is Enoch installed on? Bootloader should be installed on the first partition in your case its "DISCO" (disk2s2)

I don't want that partition anymore can i change MAC 2 Partition to disk2s2?

Thanks in advance!

All the newer kernels seem incomptible with VoodooHDA in my Hackintosh.

Why not hex edit latest AppleHDA binary and create your own mapping so you get better sound (Chances are someone has already created one for ALC-887)? i.e. do a linux dump of ALC 887, convert verbs to a readable format then do abit of tweaking and testing (yes process is a little more detailed then what I have said).

that will not work with any internal sound card on AMD Hackintosh!

put your second partition active, similarly is described here. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/22844-how-to-setting-your-partition-active-using-fdisk-in-macosx/or create a clone of your second partition on your first partition, and finally install the bootloader on it.

I really don't know what is going on I erase the whole disk to start from Scratch and it still showing the same error. Please help!!!

Screen record a video of what your doing with say obs (open broadcaster software).

if you have a system which would start into OSX, I'd be ready to help you with TeamViewer, to resolve your small problems.

so make Secure of all important data on an external drive and install everything new from the Installer, then your system will work, so I am sorry.

it is very difficult to help from a distance .. Moreover, such errors are made by the guy who is sitting 30 centimeters in front of the monitor.

the affects everyone here.., soon be tested next time with care.

good luck

Hi Guys.

.I Installed Yosemite AMD FX 8350 + SABERTOOTH 990FX R.20 + EVGA GTX 670 2GB, good all running ok, the only problem is that sometimes I click to open a folder or programs and it's a locked or crashs, I'm 4 days trying to figure out what it is, uninstalled all kexts NVIDIA inside the folder system / library / extensions, and the system is normal, like if it was in safe mode, then I see the problem and the drivers or something, just to see a post saying about: http://www.insanelym...13#entry2167036

The following is a part that interested me and maybe you can help me:
patched IOPCIFamily.kext + AppleACPIPlattform.kext from above messages required for working without system crashes and freezes
Replaced kexts in / S / L / I / - patched IOPCIFamily.kext + AppleACPIPlattform.kext and pthread.kext from AMD Installer
All other kexts inject Clover by 2953 from /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/10.10

Geforce GTX 670 - works without injecting or web-driver with.

I followed the instructions that my friend gave me ArgeLant of:

I think, that replacing IOPCIFamily.kext and AppleACPIPlatform.kext can fix the crashes

for this replacement you need

1. Download patched kexts here http: //www.insanelym...t-for-yosemite/

2. KextUtility 2.6.4 download here http: //cvad-mac.naro....app.v2.6.4.zip

3. unpack patched kexts to any folder you like

4. unpack Kext Utility, put it to your / Applications and move the icon of kext utility to dock

5. drag patched kexts to Kext Utility icon and enter your password for making changes to system files

6. reboot and check how system works after replacement kexts

Also you need to put back Nvidia kexts to your / S / L / E / and fix permissions (Kext Utility helps in it)

the method works for me on BOTH 10.10.4 system with 14.3.0 and 10.10.5 rc3 kernel system with 14.5.0 kernel SSEPlus_v3

I'm using Kernel V3, but not got success have this problem when you change the 2 kexts IOPCIFamily.kext and AppleACPIPlatform

The following image link problems:

Here's a link the images of the problem.

I changed the kext: IOPCIFamily.kext + AppleACPIPlatform.kext and The Following Message When I go to boot:

Open the images:

http://postimg.org/image/4dllr2ji1/

http://postimg.org/image/7l5j6qwhx/

Was already using the SSEPlus_v3 Kernel kernel, I tried to give safe boot but still can not access to the mac again, so did the installation again.

Whenever I change the kext 2 of this same problem.

You know what would it be?

You not used SSEPlus_v2 or SSEPlus_v3 kernel, see panic message in your pictures!!

but you need to have edit the content of the folder: Extra/Extensions and the missing smbios.plist must create with Chameleon Wizzard and you need to edit the chameleon.boot.plist.

Extra.zip

wow you have a lot of extensions kext!!

you need to select which drivers are suitable for your hardware, everything else is not suitable that can you remove.

Spakk's right, I personally use only four kexts (NullCPUPowerManagement, FakeSMC, AtherosE2200 and GenericUSBXHCI). And that's it.) Oh and one more, it's of course voodoohda.kext...
