Hi, I have two HDD: one with Yosemite, and the other with Windows 7.

I just migrated from Chimera to Clover installing the Legacy version into the Yosemite HDD (my motherboard Gigabyte P55A-UD4) and all works fine.

But I have to set Windows 7 like the default OS into the boot menu in Clover. How to do that? I'm going to be crazy...  :)  :(

Thanks a lot

Hi Slice !

Do you please confirm yes or not

I remove arg kext-dev-mode=1 on my config.plist and everything works perfect  :)

Not need annymore this args ?

I see this on my boot log

0:982  0:000  theme hmf defined in NVRAM found and theme.plist parsed
0:982  0:000  OS main and drive as badge
0:982  0:000  Font EFI\CLOVER\font\(null) is not loaded, using default
0:982  0:000  Choosing theme hmf
0:982  0:000  found boot-args in NVRAM:kext-dev-mode=1, size=16
0:982  0:000  ...found arg:kext-dev-mode=1
0:982  0:000  ...adding arg:kext-dev-mode=1

What about that ??  B)

The flag "kext-dev-mode=1" is cached in nvram that has priority on config.plist.

You may clean nvram but I think you don't need to do this. All is right.

Major Dilemma any suggestions are welcome!!  I have a couple older Quad Core 2's for example QX6850 3.0GHZ on two different motherboards. One is a Gigabyte P45 chipset and the other is an Asus Maximus Formula X38 chipset, both LGA775 sockets.  If I use iMac10,1 for example I have good CPU PowerManagement.  If I want to use a more modern day Graphics card like GT 610, 640 or GTX 760,770, I have to use a SMBIOS of imac13 or 14 or I will get no signal to monitor.  If I choose imac13,2 for example I get to desktop (acceleration), with the modern day graphics cards.  If I use iMac13,2 of course my CPU will be stuck at 3Ghz, no CPU power Management.

The only way for now to get CPU Power Management is to use a System Definition that was meant for that CPU class.  The only resolution right now for GPU, would be to use a graphics card older than GT 400, 500 or 600 series assuming that the 200 and 300 series will be the same issue or not?  Right now I have the GS 8400, GT 9500 and GTX 9800 no issues with SMBIOS iMac10,1, gets to desktop with acceleration and proper CPU Power managmeent.

I am wondering if the GT240 will have the same issue as the 400, 500,600 and 700 series or not and what else can I do in Clover to have FakeID or something else make the CPU Power Management work under imac13,2, so I can use the later series graphics cards?

Thanks

May be it will be better to patch the kext AppleGPUPM? Why not?

@Slice,  I actually tried that using the AGPMLegacy kext and still have no signal to monitor?  Would just editing the native AGPM itself change anything?

Maybe no signal to monitor is because Board-ID not present in AppleGraphicsDevicePolicy like it happens here?

Thanks very much it, worked perfectly!  I was able to get to Desktop with the Nvidia 6x series cards where before I got no signal to monitor. I edited the plist per that link you posted to include the Board-id for iMac10,1.

Thanks Again!!

No, hangs at "Welcome to Clover"; occasional disk activity, never gets to UI.

No issues with 3021.

You may use boot file from 3021 and others from latest Clover.

Hello Friends

So I have with me MBR on an SSD with 4 partitions with hfs +

On the 1st partition Yosemite is 10.10.2 with Clover 2988 works flawlessly.

Now I wanted the new version 3142 (yes, the last V2k version) to sample and the 3185 (this v2.3K), and I also would

like to know the differences between V2K and v2.3k.

These "new" versions do not boot the Yosemite, it is not even possible to only boot in verbose mode, after 4 rows white

letters that pass through so fast that I can not read so fast, the computer starts again ,

What has changed in the new version?
Why 2988 will boot properly? and not the new versions?

Thanks for the help to maybe like in German ...

Slice please any help how to fix this or what I am missing? When I boot my machine it doesn't show any of my drives nor any option to select from my HDD unless I choose exit from the clover option and enter my HDD. That, I see my Mac. What must be the problem? The first photo is the what I get when I boot my machine and the second photo is that of when I exit and enter the HDD

I just updated to Clover_v2.3k_r3193 from Sourceforge and it totally messed up my boot.

After I was ablt to boot using a flash drive I can see that the installer only has an option for CloverEFI 32-bits. There is no option for CloverEFI 64-bits or, what I need, CloverEFI 64-bits BiosBlockIO.

Where can we go to see what changes are made to ewach version? There doesn't seem to be one place to see chnages version to veresion.
