If I use Chameleon rc1105 or higher which required change to org.chameleon.Boot.plist,

I lose Output>Internal Speaker & Input>Internal Microphone in Audio(Built-In) sound (Audio ID:888)

Any work around ?

(rc1083 is OK, i.e. Internal Speaker & Internal Microphone is available)

TQ

Here is three of them: MacBookPro5,4 (for P8700), MacBookPro5,5 (P8400) and MacBookPro7,1 (P8400).

Smbios_Files.zip

You may need to change CPU speeds if necessary.

Generally speaking,

MacBookPro5,5 comes with 3 different CPUs: P8400, P7550, P8700. SMC Version (system): 1.47f2

MacBookPro5,4 comes with P8700. SMC Version (system): 1.49f2

MacBookPro7,1 with P8600 and 8800. SMC Version (system): 1.62f5

Nice! I loved your app, helps me a lot.

I don't know if it's meant to be like this, but I had the <key>Kernel Flags</key> with "arch=X86_64", when I checked the npci=0x2000 checkbox it replaced the "arch=X86_64" with "npci=0x2000" and even with the 64-bit checkbox checked, it won't put "arch=X86_64" back inside the <key>Kernel Flags</key>

It's because chameleon boots kernel in 64-bit by default. There's no need for extra flag. You need to use arch only if you want to force kernel to load in 32-bit mode.

boot0md: dual boot Windows 7 and Mac OSX from Win7 drive

Hi!

I don't think boot0md is correct installation from this app.

http://forum.voodooprojects.org/index.php/topic,2091.0.html

I have 2 disk, first is my W7 disc, second is my OSX disk,

Booting from W7 disc, boot0md need to be at that disc, then its search for Cham, and it found Cham on my secondary disc, and boot. Doing in this way W7 backup is working

There is no option to install this on my W7 disc, see documentation on link above

where it is downloaded?

All themes are on my dropbox. I'm not a web developer. If you want me to put there your theme just let me know.

App will download the theme to the Extra/themes folder on selected partition. If you use download and apply button It will also set this theme in org.chameleon.boot.plist file.

This build should work.

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/7085278/Chameleon_...nWizardTest.zip

This could happen when you have set permissions 755 and owner 0:0 for whole /Extra directory instead of only /Extra/Extensions or /Extra/KextStore.

If that works I will put this fix in next version.

Should be ok now.

New beta build.

Added new feature: boot0md can be installed on other disk than boot and boot1h. Use the app as usual, there will be new prompt for disk selection.

Two new strings have to be translated because of it. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/7085278/Chameleon_...er/en.lproj.zip
