  1. No graphics / USB / Audio after wake

I don't get any ATIFramebuffer error entries in the log, I only get this one: "AMDRadeonX4000_AMDAccelDevice: IOUserClient outputCount count mismatch" and only video doesn't work after waking from sleep, everything else works ok. GFX injection via DSDT, btw. Sidequestion: what's the problem of my card being shown as "AMD Radeon HD Pitcairn PRO Prototype OpenGL Engine" on OpenGL Extensions Viewer? In system information it shows correctly as I wrote on my DSDT. EDIT: I fixed my USB with DSDT and now, when I wake up from sleep using my USB mouse, I don't get any console errors referring to my graphics card. I only have this: 20/06/16 05:24:40,000 kernel[0]: 002575.172334 AppleUSBEHCIPort@fd400000: AppleUSBHostPort::setPowerStateGated: kPowerStateOn -> kPowerStateSleep 20/06/16 05:24:40,000 kernel[0]: 002575.246984 AppleUSBEHCIPort@fd400000: AppleUSBHostPort::setPowerStateGated: kPowerStateSleep -> kPowerStateOn
  2. Sapphire Dual-X R9 270 HDMI "not working" after patched FB

So I have to edit the connectors patch to "80 00 00 00" instead of "00 08 00 00" on the HDMI line? I read the whole article but didn't understand too much, I just don't want to edit too many stuff like kext editing cause I want it to be as vanilla as possible.
  3. [HOW TO] Modification of AMD FB + Clover injection

Hey, guys! When using DVI-I it's working 100%, goes straight to the desktop. But when I want to plug it in my TV, I use HDMI, and it's not working how it should, the screen just stays black and I have to put the computer to sleep and wake it up to get video working. I'm using the Futomaki FB (patched using method on OP) and FakeID injection on Clover (68101002). Remember my card is a R9 270 not a 270X. Anyone know how to fix this or why it happens? Thanks!
  4. Hey, guys. I patched my FB using this tutorial: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/303186-how-to-modification-of-amd-fb-clover-injection/ I usually use DVI-I on my computer and it's working 100%, goes straight to the desktop. But when I want to plug it in my TV, I use HDMI, and it's not working how it should, I need to put the computer to sleep to get video after booting up, whereas it shouldn't be behaving like this after patching the FB with Clover. I'm using the Futomaki FB and FakeID injection on Clover (68101002). Remember my card is a Sapphire Dual-X R9 270 (0x68111002) not a 270X. Anyone know how to fix this or why it happens? Thanks!
  5. [HOW TO] Modification of AMD FB + Clover injection

I have a Sapphire Radeon R9 270 Double-X (6811-1002). I've modified the 7000Controller and X4000 kexts, my card is recognized as "HD 7xxxx" in the system settings and I have full acceleration. I'm getting about 10 FPS less on Mac than on Windows. Do you think that patching the way this thread teaches will give me more performance? I've tried DSDT editing but didn't work. #6 is on Windows. #7 and #8 are on the Mac. (Cinebench R15 benchmark)
  6. Low performance when using kernel cache

Can you tell me the changes you've made to it? I like to learn how to fix things, not only get things fixed hehehe Many thanks, I'll test it right now! EDIT: Seems like it fixed the problem! But now I don't have any sound, but performance wise it's equal to when not using caches (seems like it didn't create any other problems). EDIT2: Just needed to edit the "layout-id" section of HDEF and bam! now everything is working fine (apparently). Many many many thanks, mate!! Just what I was thinking: the crackling noise problem was really caused by the bad performance.
  7. Hello guys. I've noticed I get a pretty bad performance if I boot-up using kernel cache. For example, when NOT using, I get a static 83-84 FPS on TessMark X64, whereas when I AM using, my FPS fluctuates between 15 to 70 and I get a lot of stuttering. This bad performance also reflects on the audio: if I use 44,1kHz I get crackling noise and songs seems to skip some parts. I'm using the latest Chameleon and I already tried creating caches using all sorts of commands but they all end up giving the same results. I've also tried changing my SMBios from MacPro3,1(default one I always use) to iMac14,2 with no luck. Does anybody know how to fix this or is experiencing the same problem? Thanks! My IOReg files (with cache and without): https://www.mediafire.com/?vesd8leyzoem4vh Had to upload them to mediafire because they are bigger than the 10MB limit. DSDT.aml.zip

  9. Radeon R9 270X framebuffer issue

Yeah. All I get is a quick flash after finishing the boot process. Just like that flash you get when you are going to get video but here nothing shows up. I guess the opposite was supposed to happen: when I have the ID on those kexts, I should get video and when I don't have the ID inserted, I shouldn't get. But the inverse is happening. I found out that the problem is when X4000 gets loaded. I get video (even though w/o acceleration) if only 7000Controller is loaded, but I get no video at all if X4000 gets loaded. My boot loader is chameleon 2.3svn r2468. EDIT: Alright, turns out I was adding my device ID on the wrong personality in the X4000 kext. And I also had to remove the DSDT patch (thought I had to use both DSDT and kexts). Now everything is working. Many thanks!!!
  10. Radeon R9 270X framebuffer issue

I edited myself my AMDRadeonX4000, AMD7000Controller and added the DSDT patch (under P0P2) but I won't get any video after the verbose boot finishes. If I don't use my DSDT but still use the patched kexts I still get no video. If I don't load the kexts (kext-dev-mode=0) then I get video but with no acceleration (sh**). This is what I get when not using the kexts, only the DSDT patch: Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks! EDIT: After only patching AMD7000Controller and rebooting with kext-dev-mode=1, I was able to boot "successfully". I just get a black screen but the system is working, I had to "imagine" the screen and put the computer to sleep (imagining and trying to get the clicks right), then after waking up I got video but without acceleration. If I boot without DSDT, only with AMD7000Controller patched, I get video but without acceleration and the graphic card is identified as 7xxx series.
  11. Crackling audio when using caches

So, I've tested your DSDT, result: It's giving me a KP saying something about HPET.
  12. Crackling audio when using caches

Thanks! Will try it ASAP (having problems with my graphics card, the card itself not with the OS). Could you tell me the changes you've made? I always like to keep learning how to fix and make things.

  14. Crackling audio when using caches

Hello people. I'm using a patched AppleHDA for my codec (ADI AD2000B) downloaded from this thread: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/298663-applehda-for-yosemite/ and also a HDEF DSDT patch. My sound works 100% but only when I boot without using kext caches, if I use them, then all i get is a crackling sound when listening to anything, and also looks like the audio is getting skipped. Does anybody know how to fix this? Thanks!
  15. Crackling noise

Hello y'all. I have a perfectly functioning system (or may I say, used to). Everything was working fine but suddenly my audio started to crackle a lot and it seems to slow down just a tiny bit the music. I've already tried changing the sample rate from 44.1khz to 96khz and all those frequencies but nothing and also I've tried changing my SMBios from MacPro3,1 to iMac14,2. I use a patched AppleHDA for my AD2000B codec (got it from here http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/298663-applehda-for-yosemite/) and a HDEF patch for my DSDT. It was working fine and started all of a sudden and I can't find a reason nor a solution. Please somebody help me, it's driving me crazy! Thanks! Fixed it by myself: just had to re-install the AppleHDA kext and it works 100% again.
