  1. Hi all. Recently I was working on new utility for kexts. Seems to be finished, so I decided to show this app on international forum. Features: 1. Maintenance: Repair permissions, and rebuild cache for Extra and System/Library/Extensions. Both directories: Extra/Extensions and Extra/KextStore are supported. 2. Installation: Install kexts to Extra or S/L/E and create mkext. 3. Unpacker: Check mkext's content kexts and unpack it. 4. Kext Information: Check kext's architectures and dependencies. 5. Loaded: Shows list of currently loaded kexts in system. There's no need to repair permissions in Disk Utility, after using this tool. Installation and Maintenance can be executed for any OS X partition. Not only /. Works on Snow Leopard, Lion and Mountain Lion. Universal binary: x86_64 and i386. Download links: http://wizards.osxlatitude.com/kext/download.html Please report me any bugs or ideas for new features. I would never make this application without support and ideas by osx86.org.pl team. Thank you, guys! Thanks to q64ceo for allowing me to host my applications. HDA Wizard updated for Yosemite

I decided to update HDA Wizard to the latest version of Mac OS X. Deprecation free!!! Project and downloads: https://github.com/andyvand/HDAWizard Built version is under Build/Release Enjoy EDIT: Decided to attach also the .zip file here HDAWizard-Yosemite.zip
  4. I finally updated my tool for Mountain Lion. It was designed for quick sound repair after update, without any rollbacks. It helps to install Platforms, layout and Info files. It supports multi-line binpatches. Now it also has convert feature: helps to quick compress and decompress xml and xml.zlib files. Based on zlib.pl made by RevoGirl. Bonus: Patching AppleRTC to prevent CMOS resets after sleep. It will not create any files, it will only help you install them. You still need a DSDT patch, or HDAEnabler.kext with proper LayoutID. It's still beta version, some binpatches might be old. I can't test them all. If you have any new binpatches, please post them. Mountain Lion 10.8 only. Download link: https://dl.dropbox.c...L/download.html
  5. I wrote a simple tool for AppleHDA.kext in Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and Lion 10.7. It was designed for quick sound repair after update, without any rollbacks. It allows you to insert your own layout and Platforms xml files. It has also binpatch support. It will set permissions, rebuild cache and prelink kernel. It has drag and drop support. It will not create any files, it will only help you to install them. You still need a DSDT patch, or HDAEnabler.kext with proper LayoutID. Mountain Lion version: http://www.insanelym...-lion-108-beta/ Download link: http://dl.dropbox.co...d/download.html Edit: I don't have time to develop this app. It wasn't really popular anyway. I only needed a quick tool to put Platforms into correct place (ALC262 doesn't need any binpatch). I published source code. Maybe somebody will use it to give community more tools. I know that source code isn't perfect, but I made this tool a long time ago, and since then I haven't seen a point in rewriting it. Feel free to use it in your open source tools. HDAW_Source.zip

    Chameleon Wizard Update error

I have a perfectly working system of Mavericks on my PC, but I would like to update the Chameleon Wizard I have.. My Chameleon Wizard is not updating, I downloaded the latest manually but it ruined my Mavericks and Ubuntu startup but not the Windows. So I reverted back to the one I have.. The problem is before even updating manually the bootloader, it doesn't want to update. I tried many things.. Changing the name of of the network adapter to network0.. I also edited the configuration file of the wizard.. and I reverted back to the defaults.. but it's not updating anymore.. what's wrong?
