  3. Its kinda old post... but if anyone got this problem, the easiest way to get this fixed is to make combo update to your OSX. I just solved the problem by makeing combo update to 10.6.7 from the 'Software Update' Of course if you do not already have the newest version - 10.6.7 - for to day.. Note: I have Vanilla system, so those guys have modified Kernel and kexts, make an backup first.. or just make a search for "how-to-update bla bla" in the forum. Good Luck.

  5. Help! I have 10.5.8 system which worked just fine until last update, i did Software Update to itunes 10.1.1. The problem is that when i connect the iPhone to the computer itunes just freeze and not respond at all (even after an hour) Also, even when I try to do an update to some app, enter the store or just double click on it in the app tab, the itunes freeze!! I again remind that everything worked well before the update. I tried to uninstall itunes and install the older versions .. Didn't help. The problem is so annoying .. must be a solution right? .. My sys: AMD with iDeneb 10.5.8 Voodoo 9.5 Everything works except sleep. Thanks!

  7. Dell XPS 410 Resource Extravaganza

    Any news about the 82566??
  8. HDD not detected by Leopard

leave it.. you'll erase it and make it Mac OS X Extended (Journaled) anyway in the diskutil.
  9. HDD not detected by Leopard

I dont know about the dual boot thing, but i advise you to install the osx in a separate HD (1st HD-VISA or whatever. st2 HD-OSx) and of course SATA. you can press (F8 in asus mobo, F10 in intel mobo) and choose what HD you want to boot from. try to google a different guide for install leopard from Hard Drive, there is alot of guides.
  10. HDD not detected by Leopard

there is a nice guide here with pic. the only problem you may have is that you must have same version of osx install to use the diskutill to do that. i have 2 computers so i just pluged the HD to the other computer (which have a working osx) and did the restore, and then pluged it back to the first computer and it worked(the install). maybe there is same program that you can do that under windows... there was version that the install worked for me, directly for the DVD, it was 10.4.10. if you want i can search what version exactly it was.
  11. HDD not detected by Leopard

So this the problem! its the same reason, why i was not able to install kalyway 10.5.1 too. you need to do what i did. you need to restore the ISO file to separate partition on the same HD that you want to install the OSX and then boot the install form it. its worked for my. or just buy an external USB DVD.
  12. HDD not detected by Leopard

Your DVD driver is connected to the mobo via IDE or SATA ?
