    Installation:
    Go to /System/Library/Extensions
    backup the original version kext to a safe place
    Using kext wizard or other kext utility install the kext
    repair disk permision and rebuild cache
    reboot and enjoy your wifi

  7. AtherosL1Ethernet.kext for Mavericks

    Open source iats Atheros L1 network adapter driver compiled for Mavericks. Source taken from the project on Google Code (svn/sl/atl1) and not modified, except to change the build target to OS X 10.9.
     
    I've tested it for weeks on my P5L-MX with 10.9.3 through 10.9.5 and it seems to work fine so far. Should work for various other boards, particularly by ASUS.
     
    Installation: works well in an EFI system partition and should also work fine in /Extra.
     
    Compiled in Xcode 6.0.1.

    This is Shailua's work, not my own. I compiled the kext using 10.8 SDK, and works with OS 10.9.1 without trouble, except for a console message:
     
    kernel[0]: Fixing incorrect zfree from zone kalloc.16 to zone kalloc.32
