This is a patched original kext for Yosemite 10.10 for Atheros 9285,9287

Installation:

Go to /System/Library/Extensions

backup the original version kext to a safe place

Using kext wizard or other kext utility install the kext

repair disk permision and rebuild cache

reboot and enjoy your wifi

That solution will break on the first OS X system update. Using a kext injector is more elegant (and update-proof) solution.

I use DSDT, and it's working natively, no need to any patch, but just wanna ask, AirDrop works for you on Yosemite? Cuz it doesn't for me :(

I installed it but its my WIFI is still showing OFF.
