Since Hackintosh didn't work on my PC, I decided to buy the 'real deal'. This is the result, a genuine 20" iMac G5, and I absolutely love it!

Specifications:
- 2,1 GHz PowerPC G5 processor (x64)
- 1,5 GB RAM (-> 2,5 GB RAM)
- 20" LCD TFT matte display
- ATI Radeon X600 XT graphics card

- AirPort Xtreme + Bluetooth
- Apple Wireless Mighty Mouse
- Apple Wired Aluminum Keyboard

Most fans with LED's appear like that because the LED's are placed in the 4 corners of the fan.
Don't think it was an intentional swastika design...

The camera is irrelevant.  Its the lens, the technique, and the lighting.  All you need is a DSLR (any brand), a fast wide angle lens (35mm 1.8 like the OP), a good eye, and Photoshop.

If you like wide angles with shallow depth of field a Canon 5d MkII is a much better choice.  It is a full frame sensor so you can achieve a similar shot with a sub $100 50mm 1.8 lens.  Although with that the bokeh might not be as nice.

My Hackintosh at work.  We started adding mac's in the marketing dept. and I've gotta learn how to support them.  Company bought 3 for other employees... told me to share with them.  Needless to say, I built my own hackintosh.  Excuse the crappy camera phone picture.

Jony Ive would be the one having a stroke (what happened to my design?!) LOL Steve might go nostalgic with this one though (Apple I) and I'm sure the Mighty Woz would approve of this barebones setup
