For those using the new apple keyboards, do you guys have trouble going into the bios and making a selection on the boot loader? When i used a friends aluminum keyboard that was happening on my computer.

I have no trouble getting into my BIOS setup utility, but if you don't turn on Legacy USB in the BIOS you won't be able to use the keyboard until you boot an OS (i.e., boot menus)

@Reniro, is that both the MX1000 and the MX1100? I have the MX1000 and am looking to upgrading to the MX1100, how is it?

Depends for me. Sometimes if its a cold boot it wont have power to the keyboard initialy. But then if you restart again it see the keyboard and I can use it to get into my bios.

I had that issue until yesterday... It is indeed a bios issue and nothing else as you are having issues accessing the bios and nothing pertaining to OS X. So, go into the bios with your old keyboad and make sure you have USB mouse and keyboard use enabled. It should be set to this as a standard, but then again, what do I know...

Yeah thats exactly what was happening. I don't know why it would matter if its a cold boot or not.

My MX-1000 is slowly dying. :( But she has served me faithfully for nearly 6 years, so....

I hate the feel/look of the VX Revolution, so when I found out about the MX-1100, I knew I had found my next mouse. (Was going to be a G7, but the lack of a Forward button has this far made me wait for a refresh or another mouse).

My whole desk area:

And a bit of a closeup:

Nowhere near as near/pretty as some peoples, but hey. It's home. :)
