It's only gold plated. I believe anything from 10k to 24k is allowed to be advertised as "solid" gold. But this is just gold plated.

Even the super rich can only get a laptop that is so good. To separate themselves, they have to coat it in gold and diamonds. I say, use your golden laptop. It's friggin fugly, tacky, and tasteless. Mac snobs don't need any help keeping their noses upturned and this certainly doesn't help. If I ever see one of these, it's getting the "point and laugh."
