guglielmo
@wizkid: I think your mac book has a built-in iSight, rather than a build-in one. Anyway, why mention it? sigxcpu
that was a useless feature, anyway. if i minimize a movie, it is because i need to do something else and i don't need resources hog Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/64018-a-little-birdie-tweets-9a559/page/31/#findComment-457143 Share on other sites
viniciusc
what the hell? useless feature? dock live preview has been one of the most important part of the dock, allowing you to check the status of your application without bringing it up to the front. iA!
If you minimise DVD Player it automatically pauses the film, which is handy and logic. Quicktime however keeps playing the sound without video, which doesn't make sense at all. I hope its a bug that will be solved Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/64018-a-little-birdie-tweets-9a559/page/31/#findComment-457171 Share on other sites

subjectdenied
but he's right, because i'm pretty sure that there was a live preview when the eyetv-window was in the dock, at least with 9a559 it doesn't do that, also quicktime doesn't live preview now. this is a bit sad, because even it wasn't that "productive", it was a nice feature which vista and this new linux window manager called compiz has Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/64018-a-little-birdie-tweets-9a559/page/31/#findComment-457238 Share on other sites

nato64
I restored the image to an external disk and now I'm running Leopard as my main OS on my iMac G5. This is GREAT. The dock with blank dock separators looks fantastic. Stacks are more fun than I thought they would be. And Finder is everything I've ever dreamed it to be: simple, fast, reliable, and sleek. I'm having some network issues but that may be caused by that fact that I'm seeding like crazy. I've reinstalled Final Cut Studio and it works great. As does CS3.
