I'm running off my 1GHz PowerBook G4 right now

This is SO stable. I might be using at my main system on my iMac...

Burned it... restarted my mac keeping the menu button from the remote pressed, choose Mac OS X Install DVD, after a minute or so of spinnin' the wheel the apple logo becomes a crossed circle and it stays like this...

????

Hellloooo??

I could use some help here!... PLEAAASEEE??

I have the cat in the bag.

Now I'm going to create a partition with iPartition, restore there Leopard dvd, restart mac from Loepard DVD restored, Install it, enjoy it.

again.....

So i burned the modda f@@a. It boots but spins the wheel and hits me with the crossed circle. ???

I BURNED THE DVD IMAGE (DL DVD+R), booted from it, got the crossed circle and spinning wheel forever...

PPLEEEEEEEEAAAAASEEEE!!!!!

what the hell? useless feature? dock live preview has been one of the most important part of the dock, allowing you to check the status of your application without bringing it up to the front. Is this bug for real?

Dock only ever live previewed Quicktime player, never did it with windows.

Unfortunately windows vista can do this

Maybe the problem is that it's actually not a DVD image.

He made a copy of the disk he restored it on.

Works fine here, just did Archive&Install. (I restored it to a USB disk)

but he's right, because i'm pretty sure that there was a live preview when the eyetv-window was in the dock, at least with 9a559 it doesn't do that, also quicktime doesn't live preview now. this is a bit sad, because even it wasn't that "productive", it was a nice feature which vista and this new linux window manager called compiz has

btw, you don't need iPartition in Leopard (as far as I have seen), the magical partition program that was part of the boot camp beta is now the standard functionality of disk utility.

I restored the image to an external disk and now I'm running Leopard as my main OS on my iMac G5. This is GREAT.

The dock with blank dock separators looks fantastic. Stacks are more fun than I thought they would be. And Finder is everything I've ever dreamed it to be: simple, fast, reliable, and sleek.

I'm having some network issues but that may be caused by that fact that I'm seeding like crazy.

I've reinstalled Final Cut Studio and it works great. As does CS3.
