well, since it is a .dmg file, you can use Disk Utility to restore the image to your target drive. This does however wipe out anything already on the target drive, hence my recommendation of backing that data up.well, since it is a .dmg file, you can use Disk Utility to restore the image to your target drive. @ numberz :

What does Photo Booth looks like in this build ?

Can I have some screenshots ? :D

Thanks :(

Here's you go... Some comments on photo booth is that, its damn freaking cool... Now photobooth shuts off the camera when the app is in the background, hence it doesnt constantly zap ur CPU cycles and loads up ur CPU anymore when its left at the back.. and u can take 4 successive shots or take a video... (i think thats in the older builds too)...

Thank you thank you for your post! I do not have an external hd, so I will use burn it to a DL DVD :(

LOL, funny!
Hi - I've been lurking and following this thread from post 1, and had to register to chime in, so yes this is my first post even though I feel I've met you all already. Anyway... Hello.

I am seeing a few things that I've not heard anyone else mention, so here goes:

9a528d - When I connect a firewire ext drive, the icon mounts ON TOP of an existing one on my desktop. Consistently, no matter what I have set as far as preferences go ( snap to grid, arrange by kind, etc...) Anyone else?

It seems as though there's a .DS_Store file is saved with it, and when it mounts, it wants to be in the same coordinates where it was when it was unmounted, even if it means over on an existing icon. Weird right?

Secondly, I have 9a528d (upped from 527) on 2 (almost) identical machines. G4 MDD Dual 1.25 with stock ATI Radeon 9000 Pro, and a Dual 1.42 w/ a 9600 pro. When going from 466 to 527 people were saying the menubar was whiter with a blur effect. (I saw screenies) and it looked much better. Well, to my surprise , on the one machine it looks the same (dim and transparent as 466), and it went damn near invisible on the other! I have a black background and the menus are really only hinted at being there until you roll over them. Am I alone?

While staying neutral on the whole file sharing thing, I would think the one and only guy could have privately ftp'd it or .mac it to a few people to get the seeding going, no? 1131 peers all connected to that poor machine is almost comical.

Thanks for listening and for any input you may have to the issues.

No one's made a comment on any of this.

I was going to edit the post to add a screenshot of the menubar, only to come up with another buggy issue. I took the snapshot cmd-shift-4 selected the menubar, saved to the desktop.

Opened it in preview....nothing there...until I resized the window smaller, then the pic appeared. The disappearing act stops when a second image is opened. This happens every time. Do these sound like video card issues?

I am probably rambling on, sorry, The pic I was trying to show is attached. (it's a skinny little strip across the middle, it's tough to click)

Please, please, please, I need to know if CS3 (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop) work with this build. I saw comments about not working, comments about working after re-installing and not working at all again.

Could somebody please CONFIRM that those CS3 applications work with with 559?

Thank you very much!

Thanks for your answer Rathalos. Anybody else could tell me about Illustrator and InDesign?

Another thing. It is OK to use your (unlocked) iPhone with this Leopard build? Does it work?

Are .Mac services working? (sync contacts, address book, etc...)

Thanks for your answers.

InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator CS3 work fine on my computer.

0.0KB/s @ 99.81%!!!

Darn.

Oh, and ethanemc505, I've been downloading since the torrent went live 4 days ago :P

Anyway, Gusnyc, .Mac services have been working with Leopard fine. I've heard many times that Back to My Mac works fine and when I was using Leopard builds 6 months ago, .Mac was working perfectly.

As for the iPhone, I haven't heard anything either way. I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter and will work fine :P I'll be testing both .Mac services and my iPhone as soon as it finishes downloading.
