This is really sad for you guys :| :(

Edit **

so this is the end of 755/760/780 Dell Optilex series on Hackintosh  :(

I ordered a Gigabyte Geforce 710 2GB for my 790 i-7 core.

A few days ago, I started testing with an Optiplex 9020 SFF, i-5 Core.  (about $160 US on eBay).

I have it running Mojave on the internal HD 4600 Graphics, no graphics card needed!  :thumbsup_anim:

Using AppleALC device ID 15, with MacPeets Dell T20 patch.

Everything is working except HDMI audio.

Spoiler

Mojave now installed on my Optiplex 790 with Gigabyte 710 2gb Graphics card. :)

Everything working, (except HDMI audio).

Preview JPEG Freezing issue resolved with Lilu plugin, NoVPAJpeghttps://github.com/vulgo/NoVPAJpeg/releases  (Thanks Vulgo) :)

If you are having problems booting into your USB installer, remember to put your Clover folder on your Hard Drive EFI partition,

then select boot from hard drive, not usb drive. Then when clover starts, select InstallOSX.

Well, it worked until I upgraded to Mojave. Changed to your dsdt because mine was edited for HD5450.

Had my dsdt edited for device id 15, now injecting with clover.

So, what step am I missing? :)

Edit: Okay, I that dsdt also edited for device if 0F.

Well, I updated Lilu and AppleAlc.kext just after install.

HDMIAudio.Kext is in Clover/Kexts/Others

Edit: Did you not state a few posts back , that HDMI did not work with your Gigabyte 710 and Mojave? What changed?

I don't remember because I test Mojave Beta 1 to Finale release

I not using HDMIAudio.Kext

Try this DSDT, this is the actual DSDT.aml I using now

My lilu.kext and AppleALC.kext is in 10.14 folder

DSDT.aml.zip

Works now! :)

There were just 4 or 5 differences in config. Not sure which one made it work.

I guess I could compare both configs again and do changes 1 at a time until I see which one did it.

Thanks! :)

:D Happy for helping you morpheousman

I just installed a fresh copy of 10.13.6 on my Dell 780 with an AMD Sapphire 5450. Graphics acceleration is not working.

I did copy my old required S/L/E files:

  • AMDRadeonX3000.kext
  • AMDRadeonX3000GLDriver.bundle
  • IOAccelerator2D.plugin
  • IOAcceleratorFamily2.kext

I used KextWizard to install in my S/L/E on my new install and rebuilt permissions and cache.

I also used the supplied DSDT and config.plist in the install guide (Step 4)  since I have a Core2Quad and 5450. Not sure if my Core2Quad is different or if that may be the problem.

Here are my S/L/E files: https://www.dropbox.com/s/mhg23h6oevg7xqo/S%3AL%3AE.zip?dl=0

Here are my My IOreg (RunMe) Files. Am I missing something?

Send me Macs-iMac.at.net.zip

MY SPECS:

Dell Optiplex 780 Mini Tower

Q9400 CPU

Sapphire 5450 1GB

The computer does EVERYTHING super fast now. Example when an icon bounces in the dock it bounces super fast. Videos play in super high speed. I think I had this one time and it was my DSDT.

Not sure how to edit that. Is there a program I can use?
