Use NoCaches , no works for Clover/Yosemite ;) kernelcache is loading   ;)

Actually, I tried everything, NoCaches and -f, in boot options in config.plist, boot options from GUI pressing space and then choosing all possible options including "Boot Mac OS X without caches". I even removed /System/Library/Caches/com.apple.kext.caches/Startup/kernelcache to be sure. Nothing lets me getting further. I think it stops somewhere on kernel loading.

Virtual hardware is here: http://pastebin.com/8pwYGTTQ

Processor Opteron 6128

Meanwhile I've got a little further with MBR and Chimera. Now kexts are loading, but then I have a kernel panic on all kernels. Pics are here:

Yes , no problem . I need add for your hardware =)))

You try flag "colors=32" )

BTW, I'm having the same problems with App Store, Safari etc. as many of the users here. I tried all the kernels I've found here with no luck. The App Store can't even register me in a store. The link to  WebKit Framework is broken. How can I fix these problems?

Thanks

ESXi is free

It has a free version with limits, however what was linked was a torrent including a keygen. So I stand by choice of removing the original url.

Just tried the above link and it's still active. However if you would like the manual files WebKit Framework

I have some problems with AMD Kernel which Niresh is using in his Yosemite distro with AMD suport.  I just can't open or install (uTorrent, WIMP, Spotify, Any game I tried (Trine, Angry Birds), Steam Client).

I'm getting unexpected crash (Logical CPU error 0x00000000). Is there any soultion for this? Or I need to wait for better AMD Kernel for Yosemite?

Hello Guys,

You've been doing some great working creating these kernels.

I'm becoming an enthusiast hackintosh builder, having installed Yosemite on an Intel pc of mine. I have now begun the task of trying to install Yosemite on my AMD laptop but this is a whole new world to me with these different Kernels.

I know its a lot to ask as you guys are still busy trying to perfect the kernels but please could somebody give me a brief breakdown/step by step on where to put the kernel & what boot-loaders to uses ect?

If you could It would be much appreciated.

Lord_Asher.

I successfully installed Yosemite on AMD using this kernel

Everything works good except for Sleep. It also sometimes hangs when shutting down/restarting. The screen goes black, but it never finishes shutting "going to sleep"/down.

Any tips on a workaround? Is it something to do with the kernel or could it be something else?

Thanks!

Specs:

ASUS M5A78L-M

Phenom II x4 955BE

GTX 550ti

PS: Also a huge thanks to everyone on this post and the one I linked, you guys rock!

EDIT: I was about to patch my DSDT and Sleep just started working, so I don't know what happened

You can use the usual bootloaders to boot Yosemite on AMD platforms; Clover, Chameleon or any other one that supports 10.10.

The AMD kernel goes in /System/Library/Kernels as "kernel", replacing the vanilla version. You would normally then rebuild the kext/kernel cache with the following Terminal commands:

sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions

sudo kextcache -Boot -U /

Excuse me for bad English. When I created Clover USB installer with this

sudo /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Yosemite.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/MacUSB --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Yosemite.app --nointeraction

Im not see The directory of /System/Library/Kernels/kernel

So... where I put AMD kernel???  :(

create the folder /system/library/kernels/ and add the AMD kernel to the folder that you have create.

Hi, carlo_67,

Thank you very much for your excellent kexts (no npci kexts) which solved my AMD Hackintosh problems in Mavericks 10.9.5.

But I found these seemed not compatible with Yosemite 10.10.1.

Can you provide newer kexts for Yosemite 10.10.1 ?

Because no matter what boot flags I have used eg. npci=0x2000, npci=0x3000, etc. always stuck after PCI configuration begin.

The only solution is replaced the no npci kexts you provided for Mavericks working in 10.9.5, but no luck in 10.10.1.

Because is not a commodity So there is no obligation
