  1. Hi guys, I'm facing with the problem of waking display after sleep on my HP Envy 17 laptop u153nr, i7-7500U, Intel HD 620+GeForce 940MX. Everything besides that works just fine, I can put the system to sleep from apple menu or from power button, and wake it up after, no problem. The problem is to wake up the display after displaysleep. When the display is in sleep mode, I can connect to the system via ssh from another computer, but I can't nither put a system to sleep nor to reboot it. The only way to continue using the system is to switch it off with long power button press. I tried different ig-platform-id, nothing helps I attached ioreg, clover config and ACPI tables original and patched. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you, Dmitry config data.zip

  3. HI guys, I'm trying to make xcpm or any kind of speedstep work on 10.12.5 running on MSI x99a with xeon E5-2630L v3 and can't make it happen. On 10.11.6 speedstep works just fine with the same clover config. I tried all possible kernel patches, with and without generated ssdt by ssdtPRGen.sh, nothing helps. The speedstep just doesn't work.   4. No, it doesn't works after sleep at the moment, but it's not the only one. I'm still having problems with my DSDT preventing devices from waking up normally. Of cause it is SSDT-XOSI.aml from Rehabman, it was a typo. Without it I can see the driver in kextstat, but there is no device attached to it in ioreg. Mine is 0x522a 0x10ec and it works fine from E/C/K/O
  5. For those who have problems with this driver, make sure you have DSDT-XOSI.aml installed in ACPI/patched and _OSI -> XOSI patch installed in clover config. After that I have this driver loaded and working even from kexts/Other folder Regards, Dmitry

Hi guys, as many others here I also can't make it run on hp envy 17 u153nr This laptop also has 522a10ec card reader and there are no messages at all in syslog related to this kext after rebooting. I tried to load the kext from every possible place (clover, sle, le), no luck. For those, who succeeded to load the driver on the same hardware, have you made any additional steps to make it work? I mean any dsdt or kext patches or some clover fixes or special boot args? Can you post your config here, please? Regards, Dmitry
  8. In my case I don't even see this output of pmset -g log | grep -i failure It's just empty. And changing hibernatemode from 0 to 25 doesn't help also. When it's 25 the system doesn't wake after Clover starts it. It just hangs up with a black screen until you press the reset button. Though I see the same Unsynchronized TSC messages in my log file. VoodooTSCSync.kext doesn't remove those Unsynchronized TSC messages from a log.

    Yes, I generated ssdt with toleda's script. hdmi audio works fine with either toleda's script or voodoohda.kext. The only problem that is common to both of them is that it doesn't work when I set the resolution to 4k@60Hz. All other resolution settings work equally fine. Ok, if you think a new thread is a good idea, that's fine with me. Create a new one and let me know where is it.

    Reboot after wake problem

    Hi Pieter, I've tried toleda's scripts, but for me voodoohda works much better on my 882 codec. With toleda's scripts I get a choppy sound after a few minutes of listening while voodoohda plays it for hours without any artefacts. Thou sound over hdmi both methods do the same way. In fact they just enable this option. And because of this I suppose, that bad sound over hdmi at 4k@60hz is a result of bad nvidia web driver implementation of this particular setting. As what I think would be better, I really don't know. I would suppose, that if anyone from this forum knew the solution, he/she would share it with us. We defenitely are using different platforms with very similar symptoms. I had access to 2 other skylake m/b from asus and gigabyte and both went to sleep and woke up without any problems. So, I'd suppose, it's an asrock dsdt problem. I fixed by clover everything related to acpi power management with no result. Unfortunately I don't have enough knowledge to find what's logically wrong in dsdt.aml What new thread you have in mind? Why this thread is not good enough for this? Dmitry Dmitry
  11. Hi guys, I have a skylake Asrock Z170M-ITX_ac m/b with Core i3-6100 and GTX 950 connected via club3d adapter to a 4k@60Hz TV Seiki SE42UMS. It's running 10.11.3 with clover uefi. I didn't make any direct DSDT patches. I'm using only clover config options and kexts injecting. Almost all works fine. There are 2 problems. First one is that the system doesn't wake up normally after a sleep. It goes to a reboot immediately after wake. I've tried most of the settings in Clover, nothing helped. A piece of log between wake and next boot is attached as well as DarwinDumper report and Clover's config.plist The second problem is choppy audio over HDMI at 4k@60Hz resolution. Other resolutions as well as other frequencies produce normal sound. I checked the sound with the same 4k@60Hz resolution under windows and all is OK there. I have Samsung laptop running 10.10.5/Clover with Intel Core i7 3537U/HM75 rev. 04 and Renesas USB 3.0 controller 0x1912:0x0015 As far as you recommend not to use GenericUSBXHCI.kext, I used patches for AppleUSBXHCI.kext from here http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/file/150-patched-appleusbxhci/ and it does work for me. However, I can't find a way how to recover usb drives after sleep. The only thing I found related to this problem is InjectClockId in clover config. I switched this option on, but no effect.     No QE/CI on Intel HD4000 under 10.10.4

    @mendietinha, I've tried these ig-platform-id: 0x01660002, 0x01660003 and 0x01660004 with a clover config based on rehabman's https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Clover-Laptop-Config/blob/master/config_HD4000_1366x768.plist with only little fixes and patches in it to make the system boot without patching dsdt.aml I tried with and without dual link patch, with and without MacBookPro9,2 No success. I have neither transparent menus nor screensaver preview. Meanwhile, with the same rehabman's config with ig-platform-id 0x01660002 I can have QE/CI on my 10.9. The only difference is that 10.9 is started from SSD while 10.10 from an external usb drive. But I don't think it might be a reason of this graphic acceleration problem. ​Just in case, I attached the config file I used.
