    Yeah after swap type cpus=1 -v -x -f With distro you wont get full support for your cores so, distros is not for your system :Pfor video support check netkas site

    Hey there, Well I dont know about the core i7 HP Pavilion Machine, but you need to use Retail to get it working, try following munkys guide, check others guides about how to get working some x58 mobos, like gigabyte and asus, so you can get an idea about how to do it.with 132 bootloader did you try to boot with cpus=1 -v -x -f, try that and report back surely will useful for other members

    @_o; Just boot into windows installation and format all the partitions leopard, and old windows be careful, dont delete the recovery one, then make a partition for win 7 and thats it...

    Man if your not getting another resolution in the display manager is cuz your not getting full support for the video atm, you need to get full QE/CI support, maybe you just need to add EFI strings, read about it, google a bit, you didnt check any info about your video on insanely?
