Everything functionnal, but i've never tested the Multi-card reader (SD, MMC etc...)

I've lost the battery status since i've updated (it's just a question of time...:D ).

Since the 10.4.7 update, the startup is slower but the applications seemed to be faster than before.

My AMD works excellently right now. I installed the JaS 10.4.6 image first, but with that I couldn't get further than 10.4.4. I upgraded to 10.4.6 with the Goatsecx image which now works fine. I have stereo sound, nice resolution, 3d acceleration, network, USB and SATA support. Firewire isn't on my mainboard, so I can't check.

Three things are bad:

- stability: when installing new applications, system often hangs

- installing JaS 10.4.7 didn't go well (got only very strange artifacts shown on my screen)

- iTunes 7 doesn't work and I can't go back to an older version because I can't get v7 off my system

Got 10.4.7 working but finder crashed whenever I went to About This Mac, that got fixed. Sound and LAN both work, nForce board. Also Nvidia 7800GT with macvidia :)

It was a fun process but I just have to stick with Windows and Linux because the SSE3 support does not Work on the AMD X2's.

Maybe I'll come back one day :)

Here she is!

I came to this site just for Mac stuff since i own a real mac and you guys got me into the hackintosh so much i decided to give it a go today.

Downloaded and Burned Jas 10.4.7 to disc, Installed First Try! Only Problem was onboard ethernet which doesnt matter cause i had a belkin fd7050 laying around from when my ibook didnt have wifi. So now im up and running and just finished getting all my essentials installed and minor theming!

Thanks guys it was a good project for the day.

Thanks to everyone that put so much effort into making it almost as easy as a macbook install!

*The only thing i cant figure out is why my CPU shows up in System Profiler and About My Mac as a 1.5ghz when cpu-z says 2.6ghz...oh well i know what it really is!

heres my screenshots:

Not sure if I'm posting this right, but here's a pic of VLC playing video, iPhoto with some photos pulled off my camera, and the ubiquitous About My Mac window. Xbench only gives this system about a 50 (half my Macbook Pro), but I'm happy about having a desktop Mac again.
