BuXb
I am sharing the LINK to the Update (uploaded by SemjaZa @ rapidshare) with eMule (NOT the file itself). Just run eMule and search for SemjaZa 10.4.7 Decrypts - Hackintosh I set it on "release" + "powershare on" and just connected to all of the bigger and secure servers, so those of you who are too lazy to register @ hackint0sh can get the URL easily and quickly via eMule and then download it yourselves. I am currently connected to donkeyserver No2, but that shouldn't matter too much. /EDIT/ SemjaZa, your replace script worked fine with my 10.4.7 (Myzar 10.4/5 install + JAS updates) - THANKS for your work ! I hope that the decrypted 4.6 finder is more stable now (otherwise I will downgrade it to 4.5 again which was 100% fine). Just writing this from within FF in 4.7 (even though I do not see my cursor in this fast reply text field - oh well .. ) GreetZ, Bugs.
GP1138
Thank you very much! I just installed this, and it works great on my AMD Turion laptop! It fixed the iTunes preference crash! Still no QE/CI/OpenGL, but that's not your fault! EDIT: OK, I lied. 10.4.7 broke my browsers' ability to watch videos. It crashes on many different websites, including Yahoo! Where exactly should I start looking to fix this? EDIT AGAIN: I reinstalled Flash and it fixed it.

Swad
Hey guys. BugsBunny asked me about linking to the patches. I just wanted to let everyone know that I specifically asked Apple's lawyers about this, and they said that we can't link to the patches or any site that contains them. That's not my preference, but Apple gotta make a living and I understand that. I mention that because it's obvious that many of you are interested in the patches and want to know how to get them. The simplest way that I know of is for someone to upload them to a torrent site, like TPB or demonoid, and then let us know where they are and their filename. No linkage occurs, the law is happy, and everyone knows where to find what they need. :-) It's a simple compromise that allows us to stay inside the law and move things forward at the same time. Thanks.
BuXb
Hey guys. BugsBunny asked me about linking to the patches. oops no, I just asked you if you could put a link to this thread onto your start page, that's all .. So you really contacted Apple about this .. ? Commlock
I've followed all the instructions and worked fine. But I have a question: how can I check the versions of applied files? I want to ensure that the thing I've done really works. Sorry for a newbie question. Regards.

Commlock
Use System Profiler under the Software section Ok, I've checked the software and for example my framework/kernal is 8.7.1 version. Is it ok now?
BuXb
just a quick question Is this the combo update or is there a combo update for osx86 intel 10.4.7? no combo update yet. These are the files of OS 10.4.7 which Apple ENcrypted not to run on non-Apple hardware (expressed in simple terms .. ), just successfully DEcrypted by one of the heros of this scene, Semjaza. Other than that, download and follow the instructions in his release.
Graeme43
Ok, I've checked the software and for example my framework/kernal is 8.7.1 version. Is it ok now? I think so, my real Macs 10.4.7 kernel is 8.7.0 so you have the new one if verison number is right

I really don't get it ...... Also like I said I (and by now about 30 others) am/are sharing the DL link with eMule (you find a bit ontop what you need to be looking for) .. so, please lil bird, stop wanting to be fed right into your beak (and do your homework instead) .. BuXb
Ok, I've checked the software and for example my framework/kernal is 8.7.1 version. Is it ok now? This is NOT the version of the kernel !!!! Semjaza's release does NOT contain a new kernel. The kernel develpoment is still stuck with kernels .5 and .6. We all (on hackintoshes) are still running kernel 10.4.4 (or below) as cracked by Maxxuss. extract from Semjaza's readme.rtf: ONLY if you plan to run Apple's official 10.4.7 updater: sudo cp /mach_kernel /backup_1046 # backs up the old kernel [run Apple's updater etc.pp.] sudo mv /backup_1046/mach_kernel /mach_kernel # puts your old backed up kernel back in place You're not saying you are running a unpatched 10.4.7 kernel with your hackintosh, are you .. ??
