Tommorrow, the US government is going to mandate that all fords cost $500,000, and all volvos cost $100,000,000. How many people out there would drive off with cars? A lot. But they won't be paying for them.

 

And yes, there ARE laws against price gouging. Get real.

If I sell you my computer for $5, then I don't have a computer anymore. But If I have an unlimited stock of computers. Hell, ill GIVE you 10,000 of them. You could start a Beowulf Cluster !!! Imagine that !!!

If you don't want people to have it, then take it off your website, and keep it on your drive so nobody can look at it. Your freedom does NOT apply when it is in the public's eye. If I see it, and it enters my mind, I will draw it, copy it, and do what I damn well wish with it. There's no point in arguing with you, because the issue is a huge fundamental one. You support an economic system that does not provide any protection whatsoever for the creator of an intellectual idea, which is extremely short sighted, and quickly becomes a slippery slope. That leads to an anarchist society....no legal/ethical standards, core principles, or underlying morals except "everything goes" and each person is their own God. Humans are far too flawed, selfish, and greedy for that kind of individual power, it would lead to a chaotic self-destructed society. Why don't you go live in one for a while and see how well you like it? Oh wait, they all get taken over by power hungry dictators, war lords, drug cartels, etc....

funny how very few mac os x torrents are availible now...

 

The shutdown was ordered by the US Government on behalf of a US terrorist organization... The MPAA. The BSA din't order this one I believe.

yeah... well, there are certain torrents missing on this bay of pirates.. one that i was really looking forward to trying out now that I'm finished with classes - - and now that the macvidia team is rocking.... - -

one can use google to search and find the cached pages, but "no such torrent exists" anymore.

I found a crude way of searching for torrent on TPB using Google, but it seems that none of the torrents are working yet.

Looks like the moron ripped his pants...whoops, did I say moron? I'd better run and hide or they're gonna come seize my computer(s)! ^_^
