  1. Cheap 15" MacBook Pro

I am auctioning off a MacBook Pro on eBay this week: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=290547712408 Apple MacBook Pro (15.4", 2.16GHz, 100GB, 2GB ) This is a professionally refurbished, extra clean 15" Apple MacBook Pro laptop computer in excellent condition. It is equipped with a 2.16GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, a 100GB hard drive, 2GB of DDR2 RAM and a 4x single layer DVD±RW/CD-RW SuperDrive. This MacBook Pro comes with a fresh copy of the latest version of Mac OS X installed (10.6, Snow Leopard) and ready for you to use. As a token for the software license, you will receive a retail Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) DVD which is non-functional. A functional backup copy of the same Mac OS X DVD will also be provided for reinstallation. This laptop computer comes with the original external power supply, two white Apple logo stickers, but no other accessories. The battery of this MacBook Pro is the original and does not hold a full charge. Although it can provide up to 45 minutes of power before the external supply needs to be connected, you may want to purchase a replacement A1150 battery which are readily available on eBay for about $40 at some point. This 15" Apple MacBook Pro laptop computer ships to the USA for free, and is in such great condition that I am happy to give you confidence in knowing that I will accept its return under the conditions detailed in this listing. Good luck bidding! No reserve price!
  2. This is the place to go to get expert monitor advice: http://hardforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=78
  3. I can't believe that BuildSmart is the only one who has Intel HD Graphics working with i5-650 and selectable resolutions. It is my understanding that the information is available from a new macbook with Intel HD Graphics so it should be very possible for others to make it work. I don't recommend asking me to obtain and/or provide any files and BuildSmart can't come here to discuss it with you because someone here has banned him (for reasons of personal dislike) but using google you should be able to track him down since he has his own IRC and forum and no I wont provide the information so don't ask.
  4. Umm... what about CoreData? I am not sure what you mean by "clean", but I would assume you could at least use NSTask to access MySQL. If performance is not critical that should be fine (that is, if for some reason you refuse to just use CoreData like you are supposed to). As soon as you start talking about a web interface, I think you need to be considering Ruby on Rails instead of Cocoa (as I take "web interface" to mean browser interface, if you merely talking about a distributed application and having a Cocoa client access a Cocoa server then there is no need to consider Rails). I think you need to decide whether this application is going to have a web interface or not before proceeding.
  5. We have now released the Ultimate Snow Leopard bootloader system for general testing on DX58SO and other select Intel boards here: http://www.convertit2mac.com/forum/index.c...mp;threadid=159 Ultimate Snow Leopard includes bootable RAID support, automatic detection of multiple Nvidia cards and essentially full, native support of the DX58SO (with the exception of analog surround sound output).
  6. After reading this thread, some people might find it amusing that I have now bought 3 DX58SO boards and just built one: http://www.convertit2mac.com/forum/index.c...mp;threadid=158 18 months later, there are still has some issues with the DX58SO worth complaining about: http://communities.intel.com/message/93229#93229 However, I did not pay any more $150 for my DX58SO boards new and got an Intel refurbished one for $100, all on eBay. So far it seems like a decent board even though it lacks 6 DIMM slots.
  7. "StealthMac" G5 case mod

Interesting... I have been thinking about a black (but anodized) G5/Mac Pro case for a long time... but never seen it attempted before.
  8. The 5314 BIOS destroys overclocking above BCLK 160: http://communities.intel.com/message/93308...58B0E7.node7COM The 5200 BIOS seems to be working fine for me. However, when overclocking above BCLK 140, DX58SO's fail to awake after sleep with 10.6.3 using the Ultimate Snow Leopard bootloader system that should be released shortly at ConvertIt2Mac.com. I am wondering if anyone has sleep working on the DX58SO with any version of 10.6 when overclocking above BCLK 140. Does SleepEnabler.kext work?
  9. Newer versions of this keyboard require either an OS X or EFI module driver: http://www.convertit2mac.com/forum/index.c...amp;threadid=74 We have tried finding a way to flash the keyboard back to the original ROM which did not require a driver, but have not succeeded. That would be surprising.
  10. Lord Monckton's website, which exposes "global warming" fraud is here: http://scienceandpublicpolicy.org/ The Great Global Warming Swindle movie which was broadcast on the BBC and that I believe Lord Monckton was behind is here: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5...70191369613647# It makes it plain that man make it obvious that "global warming" simple is not happening.
  11. One more thing... Lord Monckton is being interview by Alex Jones today: http://www.infowars.com/ The interview will be available as a PodCast and on demand later today.
  12. Over the last few years, I have repeatedly tried to understand the case for and against "global warming" but never was completely satisfied with the information I found. Essentially, I was unable to find an irrefutable level of proof to decide that "global warming" is an absolute fiction. I now believe that most of the problem I encountered is due to the falsification and fabrication of date (for example the bogus "hockey stick" graphs and "Climategate"). This talk by Lord Monckton perfectly exposes the "global warming" fraud with indisputable facts. I no longer have any doubt about the fact that "global warming" is a pure hoax. At the end of this talk, Monckton exposes the world government scheme that involves a large transfer of wealth from the middle classes of western countries under the guise of "climate debt": http://climatedebtagents.com/ Like the Obamabots or even the Hitler Youth, it is apparently trivial to dupe young people into action. Who is behind this nonsense?
  13. Let's start with your education then, where exactly did you go to school?
  14. You are right on target.... until you assert that is irrelevant whether climate change is real or not. Obviously, climate change fraud, which is now becoming exposed, has profound implications and ones which compound your point. Oh, so you know something about science, do you? Perhaps you can explain the obvious cutter charge slicing through a corner column of World Trader Center (WTC) tower 1 then: http://www.youtube.com/user/ae911truth#p/u/0/O36ReZixfiY I am also very interested in your scientific opinion on the matter of free fall speed that even NIST now admits which occurred in the "collapse" of WTC 7: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gC44L0-2zL8 Finally, please give your expert on the recently published and peer-reviewed paper which describes the explosive nano-thermite materials found in the WTC dust: http://www.bentham-open.org/pages/content....0001/7TOCPJ.SGM
  15. The Useful idiot

I think that if you rise above the "liberal" (US Democrat) versus "conservative" (US Republican) divide & conquer technique that the ruling elite have in place, you will find the differences are pretty trivial. Otherwise, the Democratic party is owned by Wall St. banksters, they created Obama. On other the "side", the US oil industry created the Bush regime. The military-industrial-complex exerts significant control over both sides. Finally, it should be noted that the pattern for Republican presidents is indeed useful idiots to believe their simple "conservative" message: Ronald Reagan George W. Bush Sarah Palin On the other hand , Democratic presidents need to be slick fraudsters to sell their more complicated "liberal" ideas: Bill Clinton Barack Obama Look, I actually like you... but if have not figured out that 9/11 was a false-flag operation yet, you need to stop hanging around InsanelyMac and get some help. Start here: http://www.ae911truth.org/ppt_web/ppt_selection.php Oh please...
