New Forum Features and Upgrades

The new posting dialogue is WAY BETTER! You also should mek the buttons better. Like in the posting dialogue, it is beautiful except for the dull gray buttons. Really doesn't match.

The new fast reply box is really cool, I like all the buttons. I'll probably be able to do 99% of my posts in it from now on.

 

These upgrades are great, thanks to everyone that worked on getting them to us!

Yeah, I'll adjust the colours of the reply box later this week.

This might be an isolated problem, but I keep getting logged out when im browsing the forums. Im using Firefox 2.0 in Ubuntu Edgy. Its definitley something that wasnt happening before the update.

I believe it's temporary. It happened to me once, but never happened again.

Nice. The rating feature is cool too. We need a theme upgrade. Please add a few more themes and something non light IPB blue please, maybe a bit of Glossy Blackness.

Great New features, tho it is begging out for a new themes, maybe a graphite theme

Hehe I won't be skinning another theme for a few days while the bugs are worked out on this one but its certainly a possibility that we can have another theme!

now all the layers are workin good on every browser!

Oh, nice new Fast Reply stuff. I use this most of the time, except for a quote which is rare and now I can do that here. Very nice.

I always worry when there are new changes to this site and initially tend to dislike the changes. I remember when the transformation to InsanelyMac was made I hated it's new skin. I much preferred the original blue skin but then time went but and I grew more used to it and now I think it's great.

 

I see a lot of buttons and they all seem cool but the changes right at the moment seem overwhelming. I'm sure I’ll get over it and soon get used to the new 'improved' features. Hope it doesn't take too long. But I have to say it all looks brilliant. Just need to figure out what they all do. Especially the 'Quick Access' menus in the Post Reply section.

 

Just thought I’d share these thoughts for some reason....

 

Tune in next week to see the progress.

that way we wont need to use add reply ever again (cuz all the features are here)

 

i also like the new member profiles, but i think u guys copied Invisionize forums

New Year!!! New and more efficient Features is the way to go... i appreciated much for the heads up..

I beleive fast reply has been here before. If you choose the IPB theme you get fast reply. But I like the RTF toolbar.

i said i like the new fast reply, because its easier than the "add reply", because it doesnt open a new window, and the new fast reply has all of the "add reply" features, which makes add reply obsolete

 

my question is: how can u change ur signature or avatar? i cant figure it out

joseafus: It should be the same as before, shouldn't it? Clicking on My Controls at the top of the page, and choosing Signature/Avatar settings from the side bar, should do the trick.
