New and previous members should proceed with caution before using the Demonoid tracker. A sting operation is a way to catch people doing bad, in this case meaning downloading stuff. I haven't used Demonoid for a very long time and I haven't even used it after it went back online, but just a word of caution to users who do use it to get erm...questionably legal stuff (which I don't.) Good trackers with strong communities will find a way to persevere, I'm surprised it took this long to reinstate TBH. Just because the content you've acquired appears legit doesn't mean it may not be part of a larger sting operation - if anything, it would be to their advantage to instill the notion that legit content equals safe content. Personally, it seems a little farfetched, but stranger things have happened.
