Yeah I'm getting that too. Is there a minimum number of posts or something similar needed to access this sub-forum? (Which would be stupid, because people would miss out on potential invitations from newbies like me! :( )

Check the 4th result. Then you'll see why we decided to keep it a closed forum.

P.s. Before we closed it, it was number one.

I really hate to break up the party but look what I found on Wikipedia and a couple of other sites:

* Update * A number of people believe the reappearance of Demonoid to be a sting operation. New and previous members should proceed with caution before using the Demonoid tracker.

A sting operation is a way to catch people doing bad, in this case meaning downloading stuff. I haven't used Demonoid for a very long time and I haven't even used it after it went back online, but just a word of caution to users who do use it to get erm...questionably legal stuff (which I don't.)

EDIT: Woops xtraa already mentioned this.

As others have reported, my account and stats were as I left them. As for a sting it's not implausible but a little paranoid IMHO. Good trackers with strong communities will find a way to persevere, I'm surprised it took this long to reinstate TBH.

It's easy to think that it's a sting operation, but the only way to know for sure is....

DOWNLOAD SOMETHING AND SEE FOR YOURSELF :( Hehehe.

Just because the content you've acquired appears legit doesn't mean it may not be part of a larger sting operation - if anything, it would be to their advantage to instill the notion that legit content equals safe content. Personally, it seems a little farfetched, but stranger things have happened.

Also, I noticed that Canadian users are allowed back on; I still would like to know what happened with regards to that whole episode. :s
