Upon my request from 7 January 2018, Nvidia released today WebDriver-378.10.10.10.25.106 for special iMacPro Build 10.13.2 (17C2205)

It took them exactly 4 days to implement the new driver! Perfect work and Hotline Support!

Many thanks to Younus, Ray and the Nvdida Team  :thumbsup_anim:

There's also a driver .105 for build 17C2120

Yea that's in fact the one I originally asked for. Nvidia finally provided both in one step:

WebDriver-378.10.10.10.25.105 - 10.13.12 (17C2120) - special build SMBIOS iMacPro1,1

WebDriver-378.10.10.10.25.106  -10.13.12 SA (17C2205) - Supplemental Update special build SMBIOS iMacPro1,1

Thanks for the reminder ..

it is a miracle that they provide a driver for an OSX that clearly prefer others competitor....

:-)

And what is fixed? Are the slowdowns away? Or is Apple here to blame...? Why these guys never provide a changelog?

ps

I think that latest release have nothing or more different but only a version compare with relative OSX release

Off topic

not so much off topic

In rig in my signature with latest 106 drivers and with High Sierra 10.13.2 (17C2205) I have no need to patch apple graphics device policy and also I have not used nvidiagraphicsfixup and any manual method to patch

I have used new iMac Pro 1.1 SMBios and new HS release for it

Could someone verified it in his rig if is it confirmed?

I did a fresh installation

only Nvidia driver install and APPLEALC for audio

I've got a strange one here. I'm using 10.13.2 (17C205) and the correct web drivers for it (378.10.10.10.25.104)

Problem is the Nvidia Driver Manager shows incompatible version and no newer version available...

MacPro6,1 is in use with the AGDP fixed with hardware in signature. It's not an AMD issue as was fine before the security patch. Anyone else had this issue?

Make sure your info.plist in /Library/Extensions/NVDAStartupWeb.kext is set to the right NVDARequiredOS.

Yeah first thing I checked. Also tried an uninstall and reinstall of the web drivers,

			<key>NVDARequiredOS</key>
			<string>17C205</string>

Hi,

Are there any drivers for 10.13.3 Beta (17D39a)?

I cannot install the drivers for 10.13.2.

Thanks

See How to build your own iMacPro [successful Build/Extended Guide ] Section E.2 - "Graphics Configuration". There you will find a detailed description on how to implement the 10.13.2 Web Driver for any beta version of 10.3.3....

You beat me to it :D

Darn, I thought I was clever for figuring it out. You both beat me to it!

Quite a version jump, if it's not just a typo? 378 -> 387? I haven't tried anything yet, but UI animation (opening Applications folder as  a Grid) seems much less smooth than my MBP with Radeon GPU, but that is no different from before.

I was getting serious lag when opening multiple Adobe apps so hopefully those kind of things are resolved, guess we'll see

So I just copied the NVDAStartup.kext to my desktop and opened the info.plist under Contents and the string for the required OS was blank;  Web driver installed is 378.10.10.10.25.104, and was downloaded from nVidia.

Geforce 1080ti seems to be working properly.

Since that string is blank, does that mean an update to 10.13.3 should not pose a problem, or should I just wait for the new nVidia Web driver when released.  I am kind of concerned since going from 10.13.2 to 10.13.2 SU hosed me big time, since no new nVidia driver was out.  I have seen the patching info for the NVDAStartup.kext, but perhaps the string being blank bypasses the check?  Can anyone verify this?

I see some lags while minimizing and maximizing the apps into the dock as well, my R9 270X performs much smoother.

The latest drivers get automatically pulled from NVIDIA database here https://create.pro/nvidia_drivers

Tha latest drivers for "10.13 - 17D47 - 387.10.10.10.25.156" seems to be broken right now, but I hope they get fixed from NVIDIA when available.

The link @darthsian posted looks good also. Is it secure to install those drivers as they are not listed on the official lists?
