Think HD2000 would work?  I pretty sure thats the video controller on our processors!

JFYI, Ozmosis running AMD and nVidia works, from SL to Yosemite.

Just wish I had better CPU to confirm that iGPU works as well. 

My MB only has VGA and HDMI output, so NOT connected at this time.(will test HDMI, I might get a surprise!!)

I just got Ozmosis running on my desktop but have a few questions

 

1) how can AppleIntelE1000e.kext be loaded from bios?

2) trim enabler and AppleHDA binary patching alternative?

Any way to make the Ozmosis 894m kexts load the bios? For my card with 828M of video error always. Always gets in image artifacts with the dedicated, if active video onboard video it shuts down the video when starting the system.

If I try to load the kexts at 894m it says it finds no kext to load.

I had no luck here with any kexts other than FakeSMC in the BIOS with 894M.

I gave it a shot using the Windows tool. Just converting and inserting the kexts as I already had Ozmosis and my DSDT edit in place. At the end it said it was also "Deleting non required Filesystem FFS". After flashing the system wouldn't post. Had to reflash with a usb programmer.

 

When I tried to insert the ffs files manually with MMTool it reported a few of them as invalid. I'll stick to the old reliable way.

i don't use any kexts in bios, only FS drivers and keep what i need in Quo folders.

But this way, when you do a new installation must be accessing the efi partition to install the kexts. With them converted into ffs and installed the bios does not need this extra work.

I haven't had any problems with no kexts, dsdt or Ozmosis in bios.. and I like keeping everything in Quo/ folders because to me its easier to change what I want when I want. I actually see the ffs and bios flashing as extra work.

When the system is in test is valid. But after all the tests keep everything in bios is much better.

In 894 When I try to load some kext beyond fakesmc got an error that carries no kext. And at 828 I get no video if you have onboard video and with offboard together, shot the video offboard functions normally with the HD4600. But if I place any error in nvidia video card. Not tested with AMD because I have no GPU brand here.

I used FakeSMC.Rev-5.3.820.

 

Even I put FakeSMC.kext, 6.8.1307, in /Efi/Quo/Darwin/Extensions/Common folder, it didn't working.

 

Should I remove FakeSMC.Rev-5.3.820 in Firmware?
