Apple's info: The 10.4.8 Update is recommended for all users and includes general operating system fixes, as well as specific fixes for the following applications and technologies: - connecting to wireless networks using the EAP-FAST protocol - Apple USB modem reliability - using OpenType fonts in Microsoft Word - compatibility with 3rd party USB hubs - scanner performance - RAW camera support - printing documents with Asian language names - performance of the Translation widget - broadband network performance - security updates Speaking of updates, has anyone else noticed their bountiful number this past week? There are certain key files in the update that need to be patched before it will work with your system. Give it some time, it will happen. iVoyou Posted September 29, 2006 Share Posted September 29, 2006 Hey, After I installed 10.4.8 on my MacBook I can't boot it up!?!?!?! I do have BootCamp and when I boot up it skips the OS X partition and goes to Windows. When you hold the Option key and select Macintosh HD it gives me a folder with a question mark. Any ideas? Man I really need my notebook tonight! Don't know what is going wrong.
