Kalyway 10.5.1 (native install on my acer 3680) :(

 

Leo4allv3 (never worked on any of my computers)

 

iATKOS v1.0i (never worked on any of my computers)

I used the JaS 10.4.3 and 10.4.8 install discs more than any of the others.

Now I just use BOOT-132 with the original 10.5 disc ;)

Hey vivab0rg, that mobo that u used has a Via Chipset...???

 

cos Im rigth now tryin to install Tiger in a P4, 1.4Ghz, Mobo: Pc-chips, Chipset Via and doesn work...

 

Ive tried:

XxX_OS_x86_10.4.11_Install_Disc_Intel

And im downloading right now:

I hope tha this distro works with my #?!$#$"& mainboard...

i only have one because i just used the same dvdrw disc every time. i've used just about every single release that currently available for amd chipsets. but the one that i currently have is leo4allv3. it's the only one that allowed me actually boot osx after the install.

This is my collection of OSx86 DVDs:

- Retail Leopard 10.5 (downloaded from torrent)

- Kalyway 10.5.1

- Kalyway 10.5.1 with my X3100 patch

- XxX 10.4.11 (for legacy hardware support)

 

It's all :D I'm a downloading iDeneb and JaS 10.5.4 (iDeneb for tests, JaS to server)

This is my collection

 

10.4.6 - My 1st one.

10.4.8 - JaS This one I still use on older computers.

10.5.1 - iATKOS 1.0i Never used much.

10.5.1 - iATKOS 1.0R2 Never used this much ether.

10.5.2 - Kalyway Worked really good.

10.5.2 - Leo4All Worked OK but annoyed by verbose mode.

10.5.4 - iATKOS 4i Worked really good after I figured out to use single user mode to install Darwin EFI.

10.5.4 - iDeneb 1.0 One of the preinstalled updates was messed up and didn't let me install Slick Plug ins.

10.5.0 - Retail Store bought Leopard thanks to BOOT-132 I'm done with hacked DVDs and all official!

Leopard Flat Image - Haha, the fun of dding this image and losing your partitions. Being stuck with a 20GB partition. Fortunately quite easy to expand that. Still using this updated first to 10.5.1 and now to 10.5.3 combo.

Ok. In order from first to last burned:

 

Kalyway 10.5.4 - Booted right up. Couldn't install, though. Followed a {censored} guide.

Lost my first disk and had to burn another. The second disk gave me problems.

 

Zephyroth's 10.5.2 - Again, booted right up. Tried installing it without a guide.

Worked perfectly. Just missing some drivers. This is the only install I got working.

 

JaS's 10.4.8 - This is like my backup DVD, though it doesn't work. It boots up the

nice interface and whatnot, but I have the Arbdisk problem after install. {censored}.

 

LawlessPPC's 10.5.4 - Installed and working great, now. Everything -even sound-

works except for the PS/2 keyboard and nForce networking. Great job, Lawless!

Edit2: Everything currently works but the sound, now. I'm having troubles switching

from application to application with one app's sound working and the other one's

not. Idk how to fix. It doesn't bother me much, though.

 

Edit: Leo4All V3 - Idk. I moved to Lawless.

I just added JaS OSX86 10.5.4 Client Server Intel/AMD SSE2/SSE3 and XxX 10.4.11 OSx86 Rev 2 to my collection :) As for official Mac OSes, like I mentioned earlier I have 8.1, 8.6, 9.2, 10.0.4, and 10.3. But I recently acquired a GIANT collection of old mac betas and classics, ranging from System 1.0 to Mac OS X Developer Preview 4.

Wow...hard to compete...geez

I've got a decent collection, but its kinda notable that i only burned like 2 of my images...the rest i just restored/dd'ed to an HD partition.
