I just read at Macworld that Apple might have removed the ability to backup wirelessly to Time Machine to external hard disk connected to AirPort.

Yea, I can't get mine to work. I've tried installing the airport disk utility that came with the router no luck so far :(

Only Rotate/Mirror, guess they removed it.

You sure about that? Because that was a very basic feature that was in Preview for Tiger. Try going to "View" & "Customize Toolbar" & if you could take a screenshot of that window that pops up? My guess is that the buttons aren't on the main toolbar by default but, can be added to the toolbar by the method I described.

Remove ALL additional language packs from the dump, then remove ALL the printer drivers, then remove XCode and you're at 4.2...

I should know... I just did it plus replaced mach_kernel and dumped the extra needed extensions on there so I can install... burning right now.

If someone could answer my question for once, it would be very nice?

The only thing I got is a MacBook with 2 operating systems/drives, MacOSX Tiger and Windows Vista.. I have no external hard drives or an iPod or DVD DL or other DVDs in my household. so I cant use any of those to burn the Leopard DVD iso image. Is it possible to format the Windows Vista drive of my MacBook with disc utility and burn the DVD iso image to this drive and from there upgrade the Mac OS X Tiger partition of my MacBook to Leopard.. Is that possible..

Yes you can kill the vista partition and install from there.

Use the search button.

Hi guys,

I dunno if anybody in this forum (I know for a fact someone from another site already managed to do) has already got the image to install on a hack, let us know the outcome. I will do it myself later, but I am at work now. Keep us updated!

can you tell me in what format I have to erase the vista partition.
Just delete the volume using Disk Utility..then partition it
BrazilMAC could you link us to that site please?
Just look for osx86sceneI am planning (gees, can I really do it? :P ) to work on a Hack DVD myself. I got all the info needed so I will give it a try.

do I have to erase it Mac OS Extended format?

just install the leopard dmg as bootable image on the already existing windows partition. it's the last tab on the right in disk utility (sorry, no clue what's it called in english). it will do everything for you in one step. then jus

reboot and press the 'alt' key and you will be able to boot leopard. it will allow you to then install

on the tiger partition

this will obviously kill your windows syste btw. if you would like to keep that you need a dvd or firewire connected external volume

For those wondering, u can have the side dock look when its at the bottom.http://lime.quickshareit.com/share/picture1d2a37.png
Thanks it looks better this way.(for me)If someone know how to merge all windows in safari with a keyboard shortcut i'll be glad.
