What exactly does this mean :

yEnc decoding error for file: osx-leopard105.r02

10/23/07 1:01 PM

Error Code: yEnC

Account:

NZB File: osx-leopard105.sfv NZB

The CRC value calculated during decoding did not match the CRC stated in the yEnc header.

The NFO seems sketchy.

I just realized I'll be away from my usual Apple Store on Friday. Will third party resellers be receiving stock of Leopard on Friday?

My local reseller (PeachMac) is having their own Leopard launch party Friday night at 6:00PM, so I guess they are getting them at the same time.

since this is the gm, it should work with updates right?

If this really is the GM, then yes. We'll find out for sure if this is legit come Friday. My advice: http://store.apple.com + credit card = 100% guarantee that you're getting the GM.

Once that you have a usenet account... what's next? What software works? The trial version of Unison would work?

How to look for the file?

I can't believe I am going through this while I have 2 pre-orders done.

Anyway, I can't wait!

Please, how can I use newsgroups? I've been looking for the info in the help files but I can't figure it out.

Thanks.

Usenet is harder to use then torrents. At least until you understand it. If you don't know what usenet is, how it works or how to obtain an account google it. Seriously, no sarcasm. It is to much to explain to each member who asks.

And yes, it is safe, i have been a user for 3 years and filled many terrabytes with "stuff".

Both a.b.boneless and a.b.c.image are missing around 400 MB (.r34, .r48, r.49, .r53), but only have 343 MB PAR2 files. That's not enough for complete reconstruction!!! Please, honorable Fiber or anybody else post at least 400 MB PAR2 files. Else the current usenet releases are worthless. At least on easynews.com, maybe other providers are better.
