  1. Windows XP and Mac Os X MBR

You can use the chain0 method. Put the last line of the following code in your bootloader settings : [boot loader] timeout=5 default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOW S [operating systems] multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Windows XP" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect C:\chain0="Apple Mac OS X" Copy chain0 to your C drive root folder. If you want more info try the search button. Cheers
  2. Creating a backup image of my install

    Norton Ghost
  3. I guess the ones included in the script above. Maybe also include yukon2 for latest revisions. If anyone can test this, let us know. If this works all we need to add is Kalyway's "enjoy package" to be executed at the end of OSInstall.mpkg to fix MBR.
  4. Hit F8 and enter verbose mode (-v) see what errors you're getting and post back.
  5. I'm wondering what would happen to the ToH iso if we apply the following script using BrazilMac's files.. #!/bin/sh APDIR=/Users/XXX/Desktop DMG="/Users/XXX/Desktop/ToH_x86_9A581_RC2.iso" cpfix () { cp -r ./files/$1 $2 chown -R root:wheel $2 chmod -R 755 $2 } cd $APDIR echo Mounting new ISO read-write... hdiutil attach -readwrite $APDIR/leopard.iso -owners on echo Waiting for leopard.iso to be mounted... sleep 5 echo Renaming image to osx86dvd... diskutil rename /Volumes/Mac\ OS\ X\ Install\ DVD/ osx86dvd ##### Remove old files ##### echo Removing OSInstall... rm -rf /Volumes/osx86dvd/System/Installation/Packages/OSInstall.mpkg echo Removing Kernel files... rm -rf /Volumes/osx86dvd/mach_kernel rm -rf /Volumes/osx86dvd/mach.sys echo Removing Extensions... rm -rf /Volumes/osx86dvd/System/Library/Extensions.mkext rm -rf /Volumes/osx86dvd/System/Library/Extensions/AppleSMBIOS.kext rm -rf /Volumes/osx86dvd/System/Library/Extensions/AppleACPIPlatform.kext rm -rf /Volumes/osx86dvd/System/Library/Extensions/AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer.kext rm -rf /Volumes/osx86dvd/System/Library/Extensions/Natit.kext rm -rf /Volumes/osx86dvd/System/Library/Extensions/IOATAFamily.kext rm -rf /Volumes/osx86dvd/System/Library/Extensions/IOAHCIFamily.kext rm -rf /Volumes/osx86dvd/System/Library/Extensions/AppleAC97Audio.kext rm -rf /Volumes/osx86dvd/System/Library/Extensions/AppleAHCIPort.kext rm -rf /Volumes/osx86dvd/System/Library/Extensions/AppleAzaliaAudio.kext rm -rf /Volumes/osx86dvd/System/Library/Extensions/AppleVIA.kext rm -rf /Volumes/osx86dvd/System/Library/Extensions/AppleVIAATA.kext rm -rf /Volumes/osx86dvd/System/Library/Extensions/IOHDIXController.kext rm -rf /Volumes/osx86dvd/System/Library/Extensions/AppleHWSensor.kext echo Removing files Needed for kernels without power_management_init called rm -rf /Volumes/osx86dvd/System/Library/Extensions/AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext rm -rf /Volumes/osx86dvd/System/Library/LaunchDaemons/ossmgr.plist ##### Adding necessary files ##### echo Replacing OSInstall.mpkg... cpfix OSInstall.mpkg /Volumes/osx86dvd/System/Installation/Packages/OSInstall.mpkg echo Replacing Kernel... cpfix mach_kernel /Volumes/osx86dvd/mach_kernel echo Replacing extensions... for kext in `ls files/Extensions`; do cpfix Extensions/$kext /Volumes/osx86dvd/System/Library/Extensions/ done #echo Editing IOATAFamily.kext Info.plist, ICH2-ICH6 ATA Fix #cpfix Info.plist /Volumes/osx86dvd/System/Library/Extensions/IOATAFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleIntelPIIXATA.kext/Contents/Info.plist echo ALL PATCHES APPLIED !!!
  6. There is a tool by kalyway to change partition size and fix MBR. This should fix all issues with the flat image
  7. Please post a guide for this. Thanks
  8. I guess resizing can be done from the patched leo dvd and disk utility. Unfortunately mine won't boot.
  9. zydas wireless for leopard 10.5

If you find the solution let us know, mine when i plug it in turns on and instantly off...
  10. How do i change the partition size that was created with DD?? I'm stuck with 20GB, i don't want to create another partition, i just need to increase the size of the current. thanks
  11. Reporting another fine install with the Demonoid flat image on my 965P-DS3 (rev 1.0 bios F12). Everything works right out of the box! I love this mobo. Cheers
  12. I created the patched leo image using brazilmac's method and when i boot from the dvd it loads for a while and after loading AppleVIAATA.kext it throws the following message and then freezes-> BSD root: disk1s3, major 14, minor 6 Keep in mind that i patched the dvd in my macbook, not the hackintosh pc. Both my dvd-rom and hd are hooked on the j-micron controller on ide mode. This used to work on tiger JaS with ppf patch.
  13. It was just a suggestion.. since you put so much work here. It's not a matter of who can and who can't create a DVD, most of us here can but don't have the time to do it.
