Not mine, but here's a pic of the new volume bezel, in this shot superimposed in front of Front Row.

Qs:

- Same Mac OS X loading screen as always?

- any additions to the Cocoa font and color panels?

- any tweaks to Full Keyboard Access & Keyboard Shortcuts?

- any Dashboard improvements besides Web Clip?

- any adjustments to Smart Folder UI and icons?

- is the horrible beachballing if a networked computer is abruptly disconnected from the Finder finally fixed?

thx!

To those using the latest build of Leopard: Did Apple scrap the anti-phishing features that were being developed for Safari, or is there phishing protection in the latest builds? Aside from Safari, does Mail now have anti-phishing features? These features are both present in Vista's browser and mail client, and it would really pain me to see Apple slip behind in operating system security and keeping users protected.

Right now, Apple's is the only major browser that doesn't have phishing protection built in, which I think is a crying shame, especially since Apple has built up their reputation of being the safer platform.

As far as screenshots go, i have a few requests:

Any changes in Frontrow?

Any changes in Photobooth?

Any changes in TextEdit?

Disk Utility?

iSync still use brushed metal?

Terminal tabs?

Is new Xcode included in the build?

"View->Customize toolbar" on a finder window.

apple-tabbing?

Thanks to anybody who can get some of these.

:|

I can answer a few of those.

Front Row 2.0 is now exactly the same as the Apple TV UI.

No brushed metal anywhere now. Gone. Thank you dear god.

Yup, Terminal has tabs and even templates for color schemes.

Thats good, thanks. Any chance of some screenshots of them all the same. Also, if front row has the Apple TV UI, does it have a connection to YouTube?

Hi everyone. :D

Can someone shed any light on how Boot Camp is in Leopard? SJ mentioned it would be fully-integrated with no need for burning of driver disks for Windows, is this the case in Leopard now? Is BC still a separate app? Would someone mind posting screenies?

Also. Safari. Are there anti-phishing features built-in now?

Thanks. Oh btw. Im new here. :P

I'm not sure exactly how it happened, but I used Disk Utility's Restore to put my original DMG on an 8 gig partition (It's faster, and I don't have any dual-layer DVDs). I did a clean install, and I didn't keep the original DMG. I took my partition and used Disk Utility to turn it back into a DMG after the install.
I can't believe no one commented on this!

You "didn't keep the original DMG"?!?!? WTF?

Didn't you say Numberz also got it from the same place? Why couldn't you get the original DMG file back from Numberz then?

If you're going to Torrent something, please, only do the original file from Apple's ADC server. Download it, lock the file first and then create the Torrent from that. No "homebrew" DMGs please!

Sorry to ask, BUT has anyone seen a complete seeder yet?

Hope it is still a good DL

Don't worry, I've seen a complete seeder this night. But the seed is slow and us, poor leechers, are so many... But there are 2 seeders at this moment. I hope this Home-DMG works...

Anyway, home DMGs do work... i doctored my own dmg to burn on a Single layered DVD to install leopard... and if home DMGs dont work, y do u have tiger on ur X86 beige boxes??

Give anayami some credit for at least seeding this to you guys...

On older builds even though the bootcamp partitioner didn't work the .app advised to insert your Mac OS X disc - this implies that the drivers will be on the release version Leopard DVD.

If they are not on the 9A559 disc then this isn't gold master (didn't think was considering iMovie08 still doesn't work) - I reckon there's a good chance then when a Leopard CD with the bootcamp drivers shows up that will be he final master.

I don't see why it will not work, if Anayami did what he said he did. And he's a good member here, no ? So, we can trust him. If his release doesn't work, I'm pretty sure that will be an error, not a fake.

numberz or rathalos, would you be able to upload a screenshot of the default interfaces for Address Book, iCal and TextEdit? Also, are there any changes to the QuickTime Player?
