I installed it on my production machine. I did go through a whole week with the WWDC build with not too much of a hassle. Let's see how this fares. Motion works, but InDesign CS3 doesn't. Hmmm. Fresh install cure it you think?

So Final Cut Studio works well? Cuz once I finally get this thing downloaded, I'm thinking I might make this my main OS. And I need Final Cut Pro for stuff I'm doing for clients. With everyone saying how stable and fast this build is, it's tempting to just go all the way.

Can anyone tell if the select button in Frontrow still has that butt-ugly darkblue glow effect? This should be fixed.. It looks soo Microsoft.
It does. Between the blue bar and the new bezel, FrontRow has a very Linuxy geekiness feel to it. And not in a good way :(

Final Cut Studio works well. Neither Final Cut Pro or any of the CS3 (InDesign works fine after a reinstall) programs seem to jive with Spaces though. It seems the CS3 windows get stuck "between" spaces???

1. format ur USB hdd so u can boot off of it, make sure its GUID partition table if its an intel mac, make sure its Apple Partition Scheme if u have a PPC.

2. restore the dmg to the hdd, which is found in the restore tab.

3. restart ur mac

4. when it turns on, hold the option key, and if u did everything right u should see ur usb hdd in the list.

5. this build is prolly stable enough to use as main OS, so i say select archive and install when u select ur hdd

6. it installs and restarts ur mac. ENJOY!

Is there any strange animation or something when the date changes at 12 AM?

I'm using 527 and yesterday I saw the icon you see when a pc connects to your network... Is that blue screen of dead still in 559? Do you guys think it will stay in the GM?

Hi,

Could you tell me if a 11GB partition is enough for a Leopard installation ?

leopard requires 11.3GB of space if u install all the printer drivers and stuff like that

so does this version of leopard fuction for hackintosh?
I dont think so, the hackintosh use a modified kernel,
Garageband doesn't work for me....
Ok, what version are you using? is a native mac or hackintosh, how many amount of ram are you using, what version of garage band , etc,can you be more especific, we are not behind your computer.
One more screenshot request :P

Could someone show us how Quicktime looks like with the new iTunes-like UI? Or does it still use brushed-metal?

Here's a screenshot playing a wmv movie... Brush metal has been totally dropped from the UI...
