surenmunoo
Gonna retire again for the night but got much further then last night. I now get to the Language screen but have no usb so cannot proceed further. After verifying the SSDT.UIAC works in Sequoia it does not recognise usb ports at that loading screen so I am still in the bush. Looks like I will have to give up on this Tahoe on my Hack. Not working on Z890 nor the Z790. Thanks @Cyberdevs for the help you provided to get me that far. 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/361162-pre-release-macos-tahoe/page/18/#findComment-2833417 Share on other sites

HyperX7
@chris1111 Hi chriss. I opened my system with macos 26 compatible OC files that have been released recently. including VoodooI2C kexts that previously locked the system is installed. But I couldn't load the RtWlanU and RtWlanU1827 kexts required for me to use the Asus USB wifi stick. Does anyone have an idea about the reason for this? 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/361162-pre-release-macos-tahoe/page/18/#findComment-2833419 Share on other sites

After 3 hours of trying, I haven't been able to get it to work on the only computer I have available for testing. Tahoe breaks everything. In the end, I opted to use only USB 2.0, and it boots right up to the installation screen and hangs. The 6650xt won't boot at all, not with NootRX, nor with the SSDT, which works perfectly on the Sequoia. And I also think it doesn't like my Kingston NVMe, a total disaster, haha. I have more Windows computers, and I can test them today. If anyone has an EFI that works on an Asus X870F gaming and a 9600x, I'd be very grateful if you could send it to me so I can try Tahoe. Thanks. I have a 6750xt here and nothing... I've been banging my head against the wall for two days... my EFI-EFI.zip 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/361162-pre-release-macos-tahoe/page/18/#findComment-2833428 Share on other sites

I've been banging my head against the wall for two days... my EFI-EFI.zip I managed to do it on the 9600x, I'm missing the Intel i226v, which seems impossible to get working with an AMD motherboard. It works perfectly on the Intel motherboards. If you're using the RX6750XT, you can't use NootRX for the installation and initial configuration; you'll never get to the end. I used it at the beginning, and until I disabled it, it never finished installing... at least on my computer. This afternoon, I might try again with the B450 and the Ryzen 1600AF, now that I'm a little more familiar with this new system. 1 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/361162-pre-release-macos-tahoe/page/18/#findComment-2833430 Share on other sites

miliuco
@Anto65 Updated the Download Full Installer repo with initial support for macOS Tahoe. Note that Tahoe beta is listed in the PublicSeed catalog. Package name in the catalog list doesn't include the word Tahoe but it is visible in the ToolTip, and the build number is correct. Spoiler Regarding the name Tahoe in the package, I've noticed that this is the way Apple is releaseing this beta. AlfredoM
I solved the problem with the clean installation of Mac OS 26 Tahoe by reformatting the NVMe SSD Samsung EVO 980. After that, the clean installation worked perfectly. What about a new OCLP for my iMac, which is 2013? Is it possible to install it on this iMac or is the team still working on a new OCLP patcher? I don't know what Apple is thinking but this time they made it really hard.. But this time too I am sure that the team (insanely) here and opencore team will give us the victory. 😇😘 5 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/361162-pre-release-macos-tahoe/page/18/#findComment-2833446 Share on other sites
