Correct. Currently not using WEG with MacPro7,1 with Monterey and system runs fine. No dual monitors.

To summerize: you don't have a solution, you just ike to make statements.

 

I can boot my  system without WEG as well, you know – and although I don't need additional boot-args, but still runs smoother with WEG since I have an iGPU as well.

Exactly, it's only "try it and take your summarize"

 

i can boot with or without weg too... but without it, my system is more reactive, have better position in test (not geekbench.. but cinebench and luxmark), have complete drm working, lower rendering time and use 3 monitor on DP ...with weg i can only use 2 monitor and NEXT (after system is loaded), i plug the third or it will not work...

 

Ok, i don't have gfx0 but pegp ...

 

different is iMac 19,1/20,1 ...with igpu for quicksync, absolutely agree with you, with this smbios, WITH weg, is much smoother than without, no doubt!

I don't know why you get this in Ioreg.

 

I inject 4 properties in config.plist (not only @0,name) all of them with Henbury (specific of the 6000 series as mine), in Ventura DP 3 I see framebuffers in Ioreg, as in DP2 or DP 1.

 

But I don't know why in the 4 ports is RadeonFramebuffer

In your config.plist under the NVRAM section 7C436110-AB2A-4BBB-A880-FE41995C9F82 you can use: prev-lang:kbd set to 656e2d55533a30 as data type.

Tried playing on my real MacBookPro16,1 on macOS 12.4, no sound either. I believe it is rather due to the video itself.

 

Did you try the latest release 1.6.0, by the way?

Tried lilu.kext 1.6.2 and whatevergreen 1.6.1 version.

on Clover you can also change the language under the GUI section Language which you need to set to "en-US:0" without the quote marks.

And did you notice any difference? As I said before, you may experience green screen when playing HEVC-encoded videos with 1.6.1, while 1.6.2 fixed it.

Of course I can. All Gb Metal scores.

 

iMac19,1

• Monterey and Ventura, both without framebuffer injection: 76000 - 84000 (usually Monterey slightly higher than Ventura)

iMacPro1,1 / MacPro7,1

• Monterey without framebuffer injection: 76000 - 84000
• Ventura with framebuffer (Henbury) injection (required for these SMBIOS): 48000 - 58000.

Note that in Ventura even without Henbury injection I see ATY,Henbury in Ioreg >> AMDRadeon0000_AmdRadeonController23.
