I encountered a problem after the update with Safari  :

 

My pinned tabs were no longer displayed after closing and reopening Safari , I fixed it like this by terminal command :

 

defaults write com.apple.Safari NSUserKeyEquivalents -dict-add 'Close Tab' '<string>@w</string></dict>'

defaults write com.apple.universalaccess com.apple.custommenu.apps -array-add '<string>com.apple.Safari</string>'

killall Safari

open -a Safari

I had issues with getting the notification about the 12.1 beta 3 update on my Desktop. So I just incorporated the VMM Board-ID spoof for OpenCore I wrote about here and then I could download it.

( My opinion : I think I will use Clover now as before, after spending way too much time with each of the too many versions of Opencore.)

 

 

I work in the economy and 3D construction projects but Opencore still manages to give me headache 🤪😂

And more fun CLOVER 5142 works on ASUS X299 R6EE too 😀 

(not tested with the latest beta yet but amazing)

Forgive me if I shouldn't ask here......

But I'm playing with OpenRGB (just got the Logitech G815) and it won't see the keyboard. IAfter doing some googling, I'm wondering if I need to add some Kext in order to get it recognized via SMBus control?

not for OpenRGB....it's a GitHub project, no Logitech.

If it’s a USB device, then it’s an issue with openRGB probably. You don’t use SMBus for that. You might use it to control motherboard LEDs though, which I don’t think any software supports. Would need either a user client for VoodooSMBus or to reverse the user client for Apple’s SMBus stuff.

So i booted up for the first time in a while and i have noticed that everything is running super fast.
The video on the app store is supposed to be 15 seconds long but finishes just after about 6 seconds.
Even the cursor here is blinking twice as fast as it should.
What can i check?

Was happening before and after the update to beta 4.
