sam298
Upgraded 11.4 to 12 beta with latest dev build kexts and 0.7.0 opencore and no additional bootargs. Using macpro7,1 with amd 580 but gpu won't show up in about and also takes about 2 minutes to boot. No other issues so far. bisdak4920
My Observation using Montery: 1. Usb Bluetooth working OOB in Big Sur stops working 2. CleanMyMacx stops working 3. Propertree is not usable, text is invisible 4. Adguard is OK 5. Photoshop and Bridge working 100% 6. MS Office working 100% 7. Headphone icon in menu bar now display correctly For those having issues with longer boot time try to enable automatic login in Users & Group. It solves mine. If not, try injecting the AAPL,slot-name property and see if that works with MP7,1. No, no, showing the GPU in PCI devices is only cosmetic, if you see a real Mac you don't see devices in that section of System Profiler, it doesn't need to be there. In System Profiler> Graphics it does appear ok. 8 minutes ago, bisdak4920 said: I don't know the problem but I am using the same propertree in your link. Some people go to town on populating the PCI section with all their cards and injecting proper device names. But I'm talking specifically about the GPU here. In any case, my 670 shows up in the PCI section but still doesn't show in the ATM screen. So there may be more to it. Pavo
It seems the stall of LogInUI window is a dGPU only related bug. System that are using iGPUs only do not get a stall on the LoginUI window. It's not injected kext or DeviceProperties related. 2 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/348725-pre-release-macos-monterey/page/9/#findComment-2760572 Share on other sites

Ludox
I think I understand why it crashes with kext HS80211Family when starting Monterey, they changed the configurations of the IO80211Family kexts, here is how they are now on Monterey, I am attaching photos. I think we need to make some changes to the HS80211Family kext that can boot normally and activate the Atheros WIFI card like on Big Sur. adamantinum
Hi, I'm trying to get the BaseSystem.dmg from ShareSupport.dmg (extracted from InstallAssistant downloaded with gibmacOS), but I'm not able to find it in AssetData/Restore/ (there is just BaseSystem.chunklist. I found in AssetData/payloadv2/basesystem_patches the dmg named x86BaseSystem and arm64eBaseSystem. I tried to convert the first to iso but without success. Was anyone able to do something similar?
