No it's not. 10.16 for x86, 11.0 for ARM.

Btw: All bootloaders are dead for now. Big Sur doesn't boot with Clover and OpenCore.

Someone did get it to work ;) (I think with a modified OpenCore)

Opencore 0.6.0 needed to install with no booster quirks, after install boots by itself, all working :thumbsup_anim: MacPro5,1

Good news. Is this on a Hac or a Mac?

can you post your OC config.plist?

I have OpenCore 0.6.0, what is next necessary to boot Big Sur?

it's an unsupported macpro5,1 not a hack but i assume it's working as OC doesn't need to kext inject , i had to remove all quirks and only boot with opencanopy and nvmeexpress.efi

Podcasts isn't launching for me giving me a crash message of

Exception Type:        EXC_ARITHMETIC (SIGFPE)
Exception Codes:       EXC_I386_DIV (divide by zero)
Exception Note:        EXC_CORPSE_NOTIFY

Termination Signal:    Floating point exception: 8
Termination Reason:    Namespace SIGNAL, Code 0x8
Terminating Process:   exc handler [810]

Dividing by zero? Really?

I guess the 94360 ones are using the BrcmNIC driver which was introduced in High Sierra I believe, whereas the 4360 ones are using the brcm4360 driver which indeed is reported as being removed from the IO80211Family.kext plugins

Edit: My late 2012 mac mini seems to have the BCM94331PCIEBT3AX

Thanks for the info!

Does that mean that I have a brcm94360 and that it should work? Please see the screenshot below.

It looks like the BrcmNIC driver is loaded instead of Brcm4360.

I'd assume that you're safe indeed

Guys,

There is no point in posting your "real macs" installation of the macOS Big Sur in hackintosh section. :)

I understand that everyone is waiting to be able to test it, as each year.  ;) But if you really insist on doing so, we have a section for real macs here

Hi my friends, sorry ask, after download how to proceed? Thanks!!!

On a hackintosh you need to wait for developers to update Clover and OpenCore but on supported Macs you can create the USB installer and install it as usual.

Download and install macOSDeveloperBetaAccessUtility.dmg.zip

Go to Software Update and press Upgrade Now (but don't run the installation yet until you updated Clover or OC)

@Max.1974 @C.Frio

Once the update is done the installer app will be in the applications folder and you can use the createinstallmedia command to make a bootable USB.

P.S. I used software update to download the installer, I didn't use the terminal command.
